One of the best camp grounds that I’ve been to so far! Picturesque view, plenty of spots, tables and fire pits! You get to see kangaroos, tree goanna and birds!
Sky was incredibly beautiful with heaps of stars! Loved and will definitely go back!

Very accessible if you're driving, just an hour and a half away if you're driving from Sydney. It's got plenty of spots available but it's recommended to book a camping site.
Several tables and fire pits available, obviously restrooms and plenty of hikes around.
It's also very surrounded by nature, plenty of Wallabies and kangaroos in the vicinity.
Very flat ground so it's very easy to set up tent too

Beautiful campground located on the edge of vast wilderness. The drive from Blackheath through the Megalong Valley is stunning. Lots of wildlife including Kangaroo, Goanna, Cockatoo and Black Snakes. Great spot to unwind and explore the many hiking trail options.

Nice campsite. Only downside is it can be very busy.
Those who camp beside or in their vehicles can be very cramped. Limited parking spots. A lot of day hikers park here.

It's a good place for tent camping as you can go further inside. Just be aware of this. Only a single drop toilet shared with hundreds of campers at peak time isn't ideal.

Was a decent campground, very open space if you want to camp next to your car, and also a closed off area just for tents. There is a drop toilet here, and no showers. There are also designated areas for fires which is handy. Wouldn't recommend this place if you don't want to camp close to other people

If you love camping and want to go somewhere quiet around 2 hours from Sydney then try this wonderful place. It's a bit small, but FREE, clean ground and toilet, lots of fire pits around (need to take your own wood and drinking water). If not very crowded Kangoroos will be around. Mid-week is great if you want to get good spot. You need to cross a private property so must go through 2 gates and ensure you shut the gates each time.

One of the most beautiful camps pots in the mountains. Plenty of walks and views. Kangaroos jump past you tent in the early morning and in the afternoons. It's getting a bit crowded nowadays but nevertheless less, it's quiet and relaxing. There are plenty of spots to park the caravan or a tent and fireplaces all around. Each spot for the tent or caravan has its own small firepit. There are bbqs and drop toilets. The place is accessible by any car, not just a 4wd but be prepared for potholes and muddy grounds if you have been after the rains. A wonderful place to camp.

The campground is basic but spacious. However, it's a great spot to explore the beautiful National Park
