Had an overnight stay when travelling near Lithgow. The checkin information was provided by email making it easy to arrive and settle. The staff at reception were lovely and welcoming. Our room was excellent, very comfortable beds and super clean. Location is very quiet, too! I would stay here again!

I had a fantastic experience at black and gold motel, The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained we went out for a day and came back to a made up room which was unexpected but very much appreciated — perfect for a relaxing stay. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. The on-site restaurant was a highlight, serving delicious meals with fresh ingredients and great presentation. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a pleasant stay with excellent dining! will definitely be back

What a hidden gem. Our Lions District held a Changeover dinner and Cabinet meeting here last weekend with some members staying two nights, others one. From check in to check out the stay was extremely comfortable. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable beds, well appointed kitchenette, with decor that enhanced the whole experience. We dined twice in the restaurant and the food was amazing. Although our function night coincided with another large group booking, the meals came out hot, beautifully presented, efficiently and delicious. So much more to say but I can’t possibly do it justice. Have a look, see what you think.

Cabin accommodation with the luxury motel feel. Beds were super comfortable, a rarity in motels. Restaurant food and service was excellent. ||The motel’s ability to accommodate all of our very large family groups was a plus. The simplicity of booking in was a bonus. ||I would certainly stay here again if ever I am in the area.

We had a wonderful stay in a spacious and comfortable queen room set in a charming location, complete with a touch of morning frost. The room featured reverse cycle heating, a cozy couch, and a large flat-screen TV, everything we needed for a relaxing stay.||We also dined at the onsite Crib Restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed both the delicious food and inviting atmosphere.||Highly recommend the Black Gold Motel and The Crib Restaurant—we’ll definitely be back!

We had an unexpected breakdown late at night and found ourselves in a tough spot at 3am. Thankfully, this lovely motel came to our rescue. friendly staff member answered our call in the middle of the night with kindness and helped us reserve a room without hesitation.

They’ve been incredibly accommodating ever since, allowing us a late checkout and letting us wait comfortably in the lounge while our car is being fixed.

We’re so grateful for the warmth and hospitality during such a stressful moment. Thank you, Black Gold, you turned a hard night into a peaceful experience.

The place was beautiful, clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The beds were cosy and the staff were very welcoming. Only downside was the shower water pressure, but overall we really enjoyed our stay.”
