Awful food. I couldn’t eat the “smashed avo”. Which was slices of avocado on hard cold tasteless bread. The hollandaise was not good and tasted like out of a jar. The coffee was bitter as well. Very disappointed.

Best cafe at Oberon. Very cosy, offering great ambience for a chilly day. The staff was very hospitable too.

Sign out front says opens at 7am, he rocked up at 7:31 perplexed as to why I was waiting around outside on a -3 degree morning, drew his attention to the sign that says they open at 7am, he read it out incredulously and then said "Oh... Yeah we're running a bit late". No apology. He went inside, sign stayed closed until 7:52. Going to the other cafe in town that opens at 8 after all that.

Good food, and generous portion.😋 love the omelette and the handover burger! Even the simple sweet potato was the best sweet potato chip we had, crunchy and not oily.

Really great feed. Simple but great flavours.

There was a 10% surcharge for Sundays but with standard penalty rates I’m completely fine with this extra charge.

Good service and quirky decor.

Will be back the next time I’m in Oberon!
