WOW! Had such an amazing flight today with our wonderful pilot Mark. What a great way to spend the morning!
Doors off gives you such a unique perspective. Speed, twists and turns around our beautiful harbour. Still can't wipe the smile off my face.

What a fantastic experience this was - a flight down Parramatta River to Sydney Harbour, then back to Bankstown airport. Mark was a fantastic pilot - it was a brilliant way to see Sydney!!!

I've been around helicopters a lot in my career but never in and up in one. Taking this flight with Mark was an amazing experience. Mark has a great sense of humour and a keen eye towards safety. He gave clear instructions and made sure everyone was comfortable and properly briefed from the start.
The flight itself from engine start and taxiing was fantastic. Marks skill as a pilot even for casual observers like us was clear and the experience of flying over the harbour was one we will never forget! Our only regret is that we should have booked for a longer flight. We can't wait to do it again sometime.
Finally if you aren't sure about this service ask yourself one thing. Which would you rather tell your friends about and have photos of - the standard day tripper helicopter tour of Sydney , or the no doors military helicopter experience. Choose the latter - you WILL NOT be disappointed.

I had wanted to book this flight in 2018, but due to unexpected unfortunate delays due to the bushfires, and the pandemic, we had to reschedule on several occasions. Mark graciously let us book in our next availabilities as a priority.

We finally had the pleasure of taking a helicopter ride over Sydney, and it was an absolutely exhilarating experience worth the wait. My father, who was visiting us for the first time, was particularly thrilled by the adventure.

Mark's clear and concise safety briefing set the tone for a smooth and enjoyable flight. Throughout the ride, his exceptional skill and professional demeanor were evident, making the experience both thrilling and reassuring - even with the doors off!

The views of Sydney were breathtaking, and Mark's expertise ensured that the ride was as memorable as it was safe.

Highly recommend this experience for anyone looking to see Sydney from a stunning new perspective.

I can’t recommend Black Ops enough. Mark is the consummate professional and it is obvious safety is his number 1 priority. The flight was absolutely amazing and something I now wish I had done years ago. You’ll have a silly grin on your face the whole time and for hours after.

Flying up the Parramatta River, over the Harbour Bridge and Opera House on a gorgeous day can’t be beat. A once in a lifetime experience (but I suspect I will be back again soon).

Best Christmas present ever.

My fiance loves helicopters so for Christmas, I surprised him with this gift.

The day started with a meet and greet at Kingsford Smith Domestic Airport with a mission briefing from Mark (pilot). What a vibrant guy with a great sense of humour. Extremely professional and safety conscious. Take EVERYTHING out of your pockets.

After the briefing, passengers are walked into the secure airfield, to the Black Ops Helicopter MD500E (one of 2 in Australia) for a photo shoot. Passengers are then seated and secured in the helicopter 🚁 at which stage contact is made with air traffic control for take off.

The take off was described as exhilarating, exciting and exceptional. The weather was perfect. Clear without a cloud in the as they soured over Sydney Harbour, Darling Harbour, Bondi Beach cliffs, Bronte Beach, Tamarama Beach.

Having the open door experience is like no other. A must for the dare devils and those who embrace that extreme experience.

Thank you Mark who is just an absolutely brilliant bloke.

It’s not just a life experience, you’ll have an amazing, stunning view of Sydney from above. Your living area now is barely different from above or any other familiar places. Wonderful beaches, coastline and residential areas. Many people don’t want to risk for it, but for me it really worth it. Btw, your trip will be accompanied by an amazing pilot with a great sense of humor so don’t worry about the trip, he won’t freaks you out haha. Thank you very much Mark, see you on an another mission.
