Fantastic, helpful staff who helped me with my dog between his visits to SASH, if I lived in the area, ( I come from Vic) I would certainly have Long Jetty Vet as my vet of choice as nothing was too much trouble for these lovely people, thanks again for your wonderful assistance 🐾🐾❤️

The team at Long Jetty Vet (particularly Ali) went above and beyond to show kindness, compassion, and care for our family and our beautiful boy, Sooty, during his end-of-life treatment on Friday.

From making time for us at short notice—when we couldn’t bear to see our boy suffer another night—to guiding us through the process with warmth and understanding, we are truly grateful. The love you showed in his final moments, from the treats (always the key to his heart) to sharing your Chicken in a Biscuit with him, meant the world to us.

Saying goodbye after 15.5 wonderful years was one of the hardest decisions we’ve ever had to make, but your support made an unbearable moment just a little easier. Knowing he was surrounded by love until the very end brings us comfort.

How can a vet justify $410 fee for a short consult and a set of bloodtests. Only to euthanise my baby the next day. Staff couldn’t have cared less. Glad I never have to see these people again. The whole experience from start to finish was traumatic.

We’ve been using this vet for 13 years, handled vaccines, broken bones, illness ect. Called up on Tuesday to be quickly refused after telling the my dog was having blood in his vomit and poo and without question or sympathy was told to go somewhere else. Found another vet near by for half the price. Will not be back.

Have been coming to this vet for many years but when it came to the crunch they couldn't have cared less. Had my dog to them two days earlier, they were well aware of her condition. When she did not improve they would not fit me in for appointment and even though I asked could John spare 5 minutes to call me I was ignored. My baby died. Devastated and disappointed.
