This hotel is undergoing renovations, but despite this the staff were wonderfully helpful and the price was as good as it gets. Our room did have some water damage that could have been cleaned a bit more thoroughly, but the beds were comfortable, the room was neat and tidy, the shower was hot and the air conditioning in good working order. All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel. Also there is a great little Italian restaurant just up the road that does fantastic pizzas and Italian cuisine!

If I could give 0 stars I would!

Me and my partner decided to book a quick weekend getaway!

$120 a night, can’t expect much but I would expect clean running water and a clean floor in the room!

The linen was refreshed 13days prior to our arrival so it has a little smell to it (lucky for room spray always travelling with me)

The floor was dirty my socks were black!

Couldn’t use the bath even tho I requested to have one due to having a medical condition!

The lights would always flicker and turn off had to keep switching them off and on to get them back on. The lights on the bed head didn’t work! Very dark room for a good sleep but not to do anything else in the evening! Pillows are lumpy and not comfortable at all!

Upon check out I explained my experience and I got well your next visit we will give you a discount!

Sorry but I won’t be back again!

Disappointed to say the least, should have looked at the reviews first! drove in to check in and no one was at the desk to start with, the bloke who came in was nice enough tho - looks as tho its unmanned most the time. pool was empty, place had an abandoned feel about it, it needs a deep clean (we found a pill on floor), AC didn't work and anyone can walk into the complex as it's open 24/7. We felt very uneasy staying here with children. The only thing going for it was price and proximity to water unfortunately, it could be a hotspot destination with some money and TLC.

Hotel is walking distance to the beach, plaza, children park. But it’s very old and needs urgent renovation. The room was spacious, clean and beds were fine. The bathroom was clean but have very old fittings. Shower taps were very hard to turn on, knobs were falling off in doing so and took us a while to operate and when we managed to turn that in, it started making very loud noise. Bath tub is small. Some of the ceiling cornice were falling off from the bathroom. There wasn’t any microwave in the room, bar refrigerator is an old model frost ones, the hairdryer was an ancient one, making loud noise and the other side of the hairdryer was broken. It was a bit unsafe to use. No tissue box, bin was available either.

The hotel is nothing like the photos. The reception picture is fake that is online. Fske advetising. The place is a hole! Nothing works, fithly walls and bathroom, beds are so uncomfortable. We had no sleep and I am not a morning person but i was up and out by 7.30am. Their was no shampoo and conditioner. $249 a night you would think you would get the little shampoos and conditioner. But no! Microwave didnt heat anything. Most of the powerpoints didnt work to charge my phone. The receptionist was like going to a nail salon and they dont talk just do the job and hand over the keys. Not safe for kids the railing wobble, the stairs are sharp brick stairs, the venting machine has nothing in it. I dont know how these people got this hotel and killed it. Has potential in the right hands. These people dont care about your stay just about your money. ||||Dont let this photo below fool you. It looks nowhere close to whereever this hotel reception photo was taken. Not the same hotel. That one is Five Star. This one is -0 Stars.

Firstly Front desk looks nothing like the photo that you see. I dont think it is from the same hotel. That looks five star compared to the trashy reception you walk into. It is not run by professionally at all. Place is a hazard and shouldnt even be open. The photos are very professional and the place looks nothing like it. If they spent money on the hotel as much as they did faking the photos. Place is worth $60 a night if your desperate for a place to sleep.
$249 for one night for this hole. I travelled from sydney to stay one night. The beds hard as rocks, springs almost stabbing you through the mattress. Microwave doesnt heat, fridge doesnt work, shower the cold is hot the hot is cold. I have stayed in way nicer for cheaper and way nicer for the same price. My friend paid the same in another part same hote and their beds were horrible. They got no sleep either. The reception gave me a key. We are heading towards it. She runs up to me and asks for the key back. Gives me another one. They have no idea! Not friendly. Location is central to everything. Regrettably another who did not check the reviews! Anyway getting out of here and back to my comfy bed.

The Walls are so dirty!, the outside is gross, the shower has mould. No shampoo and conditioner, milk for coffee and tea. Honestly read everyone elses. This place is bad. Live wire, broken glass light covering.

We had to drive an hour and a half home with maybe two hours sleep. This place ruined our weekend to be honest.

Our stay at EL largo was alright when we checked in the lady charges 169 we put on the phone the person who was on the phone with us forgot to tell the person at reception and record a number that we call we passed it on to the receptionist we got our card and we went to our room later my partner when to get pizzas for us and another guy said to us who was at reception my boss told you to give you guys a refund so do you have the card my partner said yes we do but I don't like using it without his permission so I went back up to our room to tell me and they gave me the refund and the lady said to us on the phone it was 120 + we were good costermers and lake view so do I recommend El largo to anyone yes.

Worse place I've been too very scary looking and also mould all throughout the bathroom can't open balcony door not children friendly lasted an hour and checked out went somewhere else. Will never recommend this place to my worse enemy also loud music next to us
