When I arrived in Moree on the Sydney train, it was quite dark and I was very apprehensive about walking the short distance to Maria Motel on my own.||I needn't have worried because the very helpful Larnie from Maria Motel went above and beyond in the level of support she offered me! I was so very appreciative of her walking the short distance to the train station to escort me back to the motel.||I felt very safe and secure throughout the check-in process and during my overnight stay at the motel. I would stay again in a heartbeat! Thank you Larnie and team 🙂

The Maria Motel might have seen better days but if you can live with that it is a great place to stay. It is adjacent to the Artesian Aquatic Centre, which is probably the main reason many people visit Moree. The rooms are very spacious, including the bathroom. A full kitchen is provided, including a full-size fridge, so self-catering is straightforward. There is also a communal BBQ area. When we stayed it was school holidays and the place was busy with a couple of large extended family groups, so getting near the BBQ did become issue. Would readily stay here again. Host was amenable too.

A big run down, they don't look after the grounds cigarette buds and drink rubbish dot for days. Lawns not done garden neglected . Some of the fly screens on some of the units have holes. But the priced have gone up since my last visit . The unit it self was ok did the job for the stay and just across the road from pool

Stayed here for 4 days to visit the thermal pools. Amazing location, literally across the road from the pools! It is an older motel but I found the rooms clean and perfectly serviceable. Host was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back again.

The room was clean and well presented, it smelled fresh and lovely. The linen was pristine white and obviously good quality, the manager was helpful and friendly and could not do enough to help, the free guest laundry was a bonus as was the secure parking. Very conveniently located walking distance from the aquatic centre and across the road from a Chinese takeaway that was also delicious. The room had a small electric cook top if you didn't want to use the huge guest kitchen. Clean modern bathroom, very quiet during the night, Fabulous stay will definitely be back.
