I have somewhat mixed view point of the place.
Firstly, it has a great location and is a cute little place. The room was well presented and everything was comfortable. The staff extremely friendly and prompt...but here's the thing. We ate lunch at the bar downstairs because the room wasn't ready. 3pm is their check-in time. They said they'd call us when ready. Past 3 and we had to ask about the room and still not ready. While watching people get keys to their rooms, it didn't seem right, so we went back to ask if we could get another room to which they one available. Why wouldn't they just do this? We also knew the restaurants upstairs were privately all booked, but the lady at the desk proceeded to inform us of the restaurants available, despite this, leaving us to think that we could book there until I pulled her up about it. Would I go again, maybe.

We had the absolute pleasure of eating at the Roundhouse Kingsley restaurant on Saturday night. It was a group of 4, one couple had an anniversary and one had a birthday. The service from Ruby was amazing. Talked us through every dish and her very genuine, humble service was refreshing. Food incredible, service amazing, if you haven’t already, you must soon.

Chose to stay here on friends recommendation and must admit it was a mistake. Though I’m still lying in bed (not yet 7am) I really need to share our experience…||The mattress is HARD!! My back, shoulders and hips ache - tossed and turned all night and feel wrecked. ||And the bed was not made correctly - they’ve used two single mattress protectors which are bunched up in the middle (king) and we can feel every lump under the sheets. I had to remake it as the bottom sheet was on sideways and couldn’t be tucked in so whole thing moved around when we did. ||Could not get the heating/cooling right - either sweating or freezing, never just right. ||The toilet is high! I’m a 5’6” woman and I cannot put my feet flat on the ground, felt like a toddler sitting up there!||And the fridge is loud, clicking off and on all night. ||Don’t waste money on harbour view - nothing worth looking at out there except the side of a dirty building. ||On upside the decor is nice, loved the water pressure in the shower, loved the separate toilet, and liked the curves incorporated into the rooms design. The location is a handy distance walk to shops and waterfront. ||Would I stay here again? No - a hotel is only as good as the sleep you had - which was barely any!

Loved the CrystalBrook Kingsley. Everything about the Hotel was spectacular. Rooms are very comfortable and you can not hear any noise from the street. The roof top dinning and bar have amazing views and the cocktails and dinner was delicious. The lobby bar and lounge was a great place to relax.
The staff was also very kind and helpful. I highly recommend the Crystalbrook Kingsley.

Absolutely loved our stay here! The space is stunning — modern, fresh and beautifully designed. Loved the extra touches like the water station just outside the room so we didn’t have to drink from the tap. Everything felt well thought out and high quality. Would certainly stay again and recommend to others.

From the moment I stepped into this 5-star gem in the centre of Newcastle, I was enveloped in refined elegance and outstanding service, particularly one gentleman waiter during the breakfast service. The hotel is perfectly positioned within walking distance to the city's vibrant dining scene and beaches and offers the ultimate in convenience without compromising on luxury.

The rooms are nothing short of exceptional — modern and meticulously appointed with high-end finishes. Every detail has been considered, from the wooden keys to the smart lighting. The bathroom, complete with rainfall shower and censored lighting for night use, was exceptional. The soundproofing was excellent too, making it easy to relax and unwind in absolute peace despite being in the bustling city centre.

Whether you're in town for business or a weekend getaway, this hotel effortlessly blends comfort, style, and sophistication. Highly recommended for those looking to indulge in a luxurious city escape.

Amazing architecture in the building very welcoming reception the Room very small but very comfortable. To order room service was a challenge using a I pad that didn’t work customer service man fixed the problem .The room service food was terrible barely could eat the food .We stayed hear as we were attending a show at the civic which the location is amazing a few minutes walk. The breakfast was very average and disappointing the view's are amazing from the restaurant.

We arrived at 2:30 to be told our room is not far off being ready so just wait and we'll come get you when its ready.
We sit and wait for an hour and 10 mins watching everyone else go to their rooms, before lining up to ask. Yes its ready! They just forgot to tell us.
Get to our room not sure of our room information. See the tablet next to the bed but its dead flat. No robes or slippers either. We had an engagement at 430 so needed to quickly get changed and leave. Reception had a big line up so we decided to ask about the robes when we got back. Got back just after 7. Asked about our robes and slippers to which we were told they would bring them up. They never came. Poor service Saturday afternoon/evening. Sunday morning staff were lovely
