I recently attended The Sanctuary Day Retreat, and it was truly a one-of-a-kind experience. The way Alexis holds space is unlike any other retreat I’ve been to—there’s a deep sense of care, intention, and presence that makes you feel completely supported and at ease.

What stood out to me most was how unique the retreat felt compared to others I’ve attended. Every part of the experience was thoughtfully curated, creating a space where I could fully immerse myself and connect not only with myself but also with my partner. I love that this retreat is now open to men as well—it was a beautiful way for us to share a meaningful and grounding experience together.

By the end of the day, I felt wholesome, content, and truly happy. It was a deeply restorative experience that left me feeling lighter and more aligned. I will absolutely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a space to reconnect, reflect, and recharge.

Sanctuary Retreat is a very special place. From the quiet street entrance, you would never even know it was there! But down a few steps, there is a tranquil garden with beautiful trees and flowers, and a clean, cosy indoor space for relaxing, refreshments and all the necessary facilities. Then, there is the lower level of the garden - a beautiful, private area looking out onto a forested valley. I feel like I could forget I was anywhere near a city as I enjoy the sauna and massage spaces. It really calmed my nervous system and had me leaving with a smile on my face 🙂 Highly recommended for a wilderness break without even leaving Sydney!

Such an amazing property it really feels like you’re in the bush and away from the hustle bustle of the city. Alexis is an incredible host and shares so much of her wisdom and beautiful grounding energy. Sauna pool and ice bath are top notch - highly recommend this place to anyone needing a little time out and reset.

Had a beautiful 3 night stay here, had a totally relaxing massage then well used the sauna and the pool. Had some great sun bakes in the back yard then went for a bush walk down the back. Was the rest and reset i needed. Alexis is lovely and was a great host.
Great area to explore as well, close to beaches and national park.

Such a beautiful experience spending a day the the sanctuary. Beautiful location. Felt so nice being in the space. Everyone was so supportive and great time really connecting. First time having an ice bath, loved it. I recommend giving it a try and definitely will be back. Lovely to meet Alexi and her family.

I booked 2 nights at The Sanctuary after feeling like life was getting on top of me and I had nowhere to turn. I was seeking peace and clarity about who I am and where I want to go.
I met Alexis and we connected so well! She guided me through my emotions and supported me with everything. She introduced me to new techniques and outlooks that changed the way I think forever. She also had a little treat bag for me ready that had some beautiful journals and resources.
The retreat itself is a beautiful quaint place that has everything you could ever need. The resources are so lovely and the garden is the perfect place to read and relax. I also got an Uber to the boathouse (10 minutes away) and hired a Kayak for just $30. I would highly recommend doing this! The scenery was beautiful and it was so peaceful kayaking along the river.
I would recommend the sanctuary to everyone and will definitely return. A massive thank you to Alexis who I still keep in contact with🩷

I highly rate this retreat. Being in nature and having access to healing programs is next level. Alexis has a wonderful peaceful presence around her which is contagious in the best way. I really have enjoyed my time here and I’m leaving this trip a new person. I highly recommend the wellness retreat, the rebirth massage and a counselling session for anyone seeking inner healing. There’s lots to do to keep you present and search within. The sanctuary is private and I felt I had lots of space to myself. Thank you Alexis
