Luke is an amazing guide, very friendly and knowledgeable. I had a great time with him, it was a challenging hunt, but worth every minute.

What’s great is that Luke doesn’t merely take you out hunting, he teaches you to be an independent hunter. We spent a lot of time studying animal tracks, droppings and potential spots, to me this knowledge is invaluable.

I had a blast, it was great and I highly recommend Luke. Buck is also a formidable assistant.

Can't recommend Luke enough. Spent 3 days with him hunting deer. Whilst we unfortunately weren't successful due to some impossible to predict and forever changing winds during our trip, he provided me with all of the knowledge and skills to feel confident to know if animals have recently been in the area, determine which way to go, how and when to approach as well as so much more. I have been set up to not only feel confident if I decide to go back to that specific state forest, but also if I decide to go to another forest entirely.

Luke was easy to talk to and made the whole trip easy and seamless. His dog Buck was also an amazing help, always trying his best to point us in the right direction.

Would very much love to do another trip with Luke.

I just spent an unforgettable weekend with Luke chasing sambar deer down in Victoria. He’s an absolutely top bloke and an outstanding hunter with a wealth of knowledge about public land hunting and animal behaviour. His understanding of the bush and the animals we were pursuing made the whole experience not just successful, but genuinely educational and enjoyable. Went on a guided hunt with Luke from Forest to Fork and came out with a full fridge, a full brain, and slightly fewer excuses for missing shots. I thought I knew a bit about hunting, but Luke filled in gaps I didn’t even know existed. His bush skills are next level, and he somehow manages to teach without making you feel like a goose. It was hands-on, practical, and genuinely enjoyable — plus we walked away with meat and skills I’ve already put to good use. Highly recommend if you want to level up your hunting game and have a few laughs along the way.

Being a keen hunter from overseas, I was nervous to tackle hunting in Australia on my own. Thankfully I came across Forest to Fork and Luke made the whole process very easy. Luke set my mind at ease with reading maps, obtaining my licenses and so much more. Even before the hunt had begun I learned so much in the forest from him that I will use for my future hunts. I highly recommend this experience, it is honestly indescribable to give justice to just how incredible it was. Luke shared knowledge well beyond anything I have learnt from podcasts, books, etc. Luke was super attentive in ensuring I was understanding and developing my knowledge in awareness about the bush and hunting, but also in ensuring a great experience and I was well looked after. He is not only an awesome teacher but a truly genuine bloke and great person. My personal experience was unreal it was a perfectly guided experience especially for my first hunt. I bow hunted deer and goats, I placed an arrow in 2 goats, and stalked into 20m of deer and even drew back on one. There was constant action and education, that made me realise how much more there is to hunting and I can honestly say I don't believe there's anyone better to learn it from.

Luke is a great guy who understands the industry, has good knowledge of the forest, great tips on hunting locations and animals choices.
He finds ways to drill his knowledge and experience of the forest and animal behaviour to make your trip enjoyable.
Very helpful if you hunt an animal, he cuts it to your liking and bags the meat in the onboard fridge.
