We stayed at Budgalong Lodge for my wife’s birthday, and honestly, it was one of the most unforgettable trips we’ve ever had. The views were absolutely breathtaking – we got to watch both the sunrise and sunset, and it felt like something out of a dream. Nick was such an amazing host, always so friendly and helpful with anything we needed. He really made us feel at home. The food was fresh and delicious, and I can’t recommend the honey enough – definitely don’t leave without trying it! This was hands down one of the best places I’ve ever stayed, and it made my wife’s birthday so special and memorable. If you’re looking for a place to relax, enjoy stunning views, and feel truly looked after, Budgalong Lodge is the perfect choice.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend this to everyone! The attention to detail in the decor and the thoughtful touches like the book selection really made it feel special. We loved sipping wine by the fire pit in the evenings under the spectacular stars and soaking up the peaceful sunrises over breakfast on the balcony, with stunning views of the rolling Aussie landscape.

We’re already looking forward to booking again – hopefully in the spring! Or the Fire Feast sounds amazing, we are keen for that. Thanks again for your warm hospitality.

The most beautiful farm stay! We had a lovely stay at Budgalong. The accommodation is relaxing with breathtaking views. We enjoyed lovely walks around the accommodation, watched the sunrise with a cup of coffee and cooked dinner by the fire. If you’re looking to unwind and relax - this is the perfect spot. Could not recommend the hospitality and experience at Budgalong more!

We recently stayed at Budgalong Lodge at Mudgee Fairview Camp and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The tent was incredibly well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The facilities were spotless, thoughtfully designed, and made us feel right at home.

One of the highlights was the stunning view — waking up to the rolling hills and expansive countryside was truly breathtaking. It was the perfect backdrop for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway.

I would highly recommend Budgalong Lodge to anyone looking for a serene escape with great amenities and beautiful scenery. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Million star camping in stylish comfort!

Huge tent with two bedrooms and lounge looking out over the great dividing range, our only neighbours are of the furry or feathered kind with the occasional giant wood moth,
the heaviest moth in the world. The dawn and dawn chorus is very spectacular courtesy of the kookaburras, magpies, cockatoos and apostle birds. At dusk the kangaroos and wallabies come and say g'day.

Great to see all this wildlife flourishing on what is a working farm with Mary and Rob very congenial hosts. We bought our mountain bikes which is a great way to explore the 10,000 acre property. The sheep and cattle are also pretty friendly. One of the highlights was a 20km return ride along an old railway line to a disused tunnel. Very spooky.

Absolutely loved this unique getaway but I must admit camping will never be the same with super comfy beds, a proper kitchen and great hot showers.

It has everything you could think of together with high end luxury.
The feeling of peace and tranquillity is something I'm missing being back home, not to mention those incredible sunrises and sunsets.
If you like outdoor cooking like me, you'll be in your element at Budgalong .

The Mountview lodge was beautifully designed and well equipped, with everything I needed to truly relax. The views over the hills were stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset.

It was the ideal spot to slow down, read a book, and disconnect from the hustle and bustle of city life. The simple touches made it even more special — a bottle of wine on arrival, homemade honey, fresh sourdough, and chocolates all added a warm, personal feel.

I enjoyed the indoor fireplace, the outdoor fire pit, and the cozy comfort of the electric blanket. The whole place felt quiet, and the hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful.

I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Budgalong lodge! The accomodation was very comfortable and the view from the property is world class. If you are looking for a beautiful luxury farm stay to escape reality for a little while - this is it! Would definitely stay again, highly recommended!
