Although not many on the boat it was an absolutely enjoyable and informative experience. The boat was extremely well kept and clean, staff very knowledgeable and more importantly friendly.
Highly recommend the 3 hour cruise.

A fantastic way to get to Bundeena from Cronulla Wharf which is located on Tonkin Street, Gunnamatta Bay, Cronulla, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺. The ferry stops at Bundeena Wharf which is 5 minutes walk from Bundeena Village.
The Cronulla Bundeena ferry is the oldest running ferry to a timetable in Australia and has been in operation since 1939.
It’s a lovely way to get from Cronulla to Bundeena and you can get some beautiful photos of the Bay. You could make a day of it, staying in Bundeena for lunch and a walk and spending some time at the Beach there.
The ferry itself is quite small and can fill fast especially in the 10.30am, 11.30am services from Cronulla.
The ferry leaves Cronulla every hour starting at 5.30am until 6.30pm with a no service at 12.30pm for lunch.
To return from Bundeena to Cronulla, the ferry leaves every hour starting at 6.00am until 7.00pm with no service at 1.00pm for lunch.
The hours of service are shorter on weekends and public holidays.
Fares are as follows -
Adult -$8.80
Children (4-15 years) - $4.40
Concession - $4.40
Senior $4.40
Family (2 Adults, 2 Children) - $23.00
Would not hesitate to recommend this service. It was very enjoyable. Can’t wait to do it again. Loved it! Thumbs up from me! 👍👍👍

I highly recommend this sunset dinner cruise. We celebrated my Mum’s 60th birthday having a sunset dinner cruise, the service was exceptional from start to finish, the food was amazing, the crispy skin salmon and scotch fillet steaks all cooked to perfection, the creamy mash was delicious and vegetables nice and fresh and the chefs sauces were also delicious, we had six kids in our party and they also catered to the kids so well and as noisy as kids are the staff were so patient and accommodating and we all really appreciated that so much! Thank you again for having us, we look forward to coming back on board again.

We caught the ferry over to Bundeena and the ferry trip was part of the whole experience. Old school workhorse of a boat took us over, painted green and gold, naturally. $9.10 each way, well worth the money for a little bit of history and a nice ride.

The three hour river cruise was fascinating, I was good to the front of the boat outside watching the waterfront villas and the park landscape. All you can drink tea and coffee.

Tiny boat - crammed to the gunnels-but we survived. Nice jaunt.

Lovely ferry and about the only public transport to the Bundeena end of the Royal National Park. The ferry we were on was constructed in the late 40’s, so my kids got a kick out of being on a boat that was older than their grandad. The timetables are very close - we came running off the Royal Coastal Walk at 4, just in time to see them pull away!
