The staff were fantastic and very attentive!
The drinks were phenomenal - sweet and fruity mocktails are right up my alley and I love that there was a good selection of them - next time I'll try the cocktails when I'm not driving 🙂
The food was really good, in particular the tuna tartare, brie and gorgonzola tarte tatin, the duck main and the banana pudding - absolutely delicious! The tuna tartare was incredibly fresh and paired so well with the potato hash (also, generous portion). The brie and gorgonzola worked perfectly with the red wine caramel and fig - I loved how the sweetness offsets the smokiness of the cheese, but doesn't overpower it. The duck main dish was cooked to absolute perfection - I think this was the best duck dish I have ever had. I usually don't eat duck because most people cook it and it tastes gamey, but this was not at all, and it was just cooked perfectly (LOVED the cherry glaze). And finally, the banana pudding was so decadent and still super warm - every part of this dish was so amazing I was just sad I was too full to finish it. The other dishes we tried were nice as well, like the sausage entree, the barramundi main and the sundae. The only dish we didn't like was the duck liver parfait - the bread was burnt and the duck liver pate wasn't enough to cover the taste of it unfortunately - also would recommend more bread for it or a smaller portion of the duck liver pate - there was too much pate for how much bread was given.
Overall, loved our experience and will be back with others 🙂 thank you for a wonderful dining experience!

**NOTE: this review is based on a Thursday night and cost is based on per person (we ordered more than usual for 2 people). When we went, the restaurant was not that busy but for Friday nights and weekends, I would recommend booking. This is not a paid review**

I’ve dined at Jensen a few times now, and every visit delivers perfection – from the food to the service and the overall atmosphere.
This time, was birthday celebration in their private dining room with a three-course set menu. Naturally, I had to go with a few of their signature dishes – they never disappoint.
The prawns are an absolute must, the steak was cooked to perfection, and their soufflé remains a standout every time.

We loved our dinner here! The staff were so lovely and welcoming. The atmosphere inside was lovely and cozy too. The food was exceptional. The best barramundi I’ve ever had, it was so warm and moist and delicious. Highly recommend!

Service was very friendly and attentive despite how busy it was. The food was AMAZING. Some of the nicest food I’ve eaten at a restaurant. The restaraunt itself was quite beautiful and spacious. The food came quickly which was a bonus. If I had to complain about something, I would love if my seat was a bit higher up as it felt a bit low down, but it wasn’t the end of the world and I got used to it. Overall, we had a lovely experience.

Overall, delicious! The entrees and mains were simply delicious, and the flavour combinations were complimentary on the palette. So many standouts, and it was great to have a range of dietary options and preferences. We'll definitely dine again. Highly recommend.

When the level of service and attention to detail matches the quality dishes being served….. well you just can’t beat that.
We have dined at Jensens many times but we went for a chilled lunch and received exceptional service. We were asked what our occasion was and mentioned it was our anniversary and received a little surprise with our dessert.
Standout dishes were the vegan menu fried gnocchi with curry sauce(we are not vegans)and the banana pudding.
Thank you for making our day that little bit more special.

Jensens restaurant is a really lovely place.

It is in a great location with parking readily available and easy access for people with disabilities and needing wheelchair ramps.

The staff were lovely as soon as my family and I entered and greeted us with friendly faces and smiles. They were attentive and quick in making sure our needs were met.

The atmosphere was great with the interior being well decorated and very comfortable. It has room for large and small groups and makes for a great destination for events.

The food was appealing and had good variety. It was brought out relatively quick and were made with a great mix of colours and flavours. The standouts were the starters and were very tasty. The mains were good but not next level.

Overall Jensens was a great experience.
