I recently stayed at The Colony Hotel in Jerilderie, and I was genuinely impressed by the experience. The hospitality was incredible—staff were warm, attentive, and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived.

The rooms were very cosy and clean, offering a comfortable and relaxing space to unwind. Everything was well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere felt calm and welcoming.

What really stood out was the exceptional food. Every meal was well-prepared, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. It added a special touch to the stay and made dining at the hotel a real highlight.

I had no complaints at all—just a smooth, pleasant experience from start to finish.

Highly recommended for anyone passing through Jerilderie or looking for a friendly, well-run place to stay.

Dropped in on our way up Nth and was a great place to stay. The room was nice and the bed was comfy. Went down stairs to the pub for dinner and food was great. Loved that you could buy half a Parma and was still a really decent size.

Absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we walked in, the service was incredible.. friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.
I ordered the lamb malai, and it was hands down one of the best curries I've ever had.. rich, creamy, perfectly spiced, and melt-in-your-mouth tender.
The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with cosiness that makes you want to stay a while. Whether you're dining with family, friends, or passing through and looking to recharge... this place is great for everyone. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

One of the friendliest and welcoming pubs I’ve visited, been back many many times and always had a good time. Awesome bar staff right up there with the best - always making sure your happy.
Great food one of the best scotch steaks I’ve ever ever had and that’s a lot… couldn’t recommend these guys and this pub more for a great experience!!

After a late afternoon walk around the quiet town of Jerilderie, we seen the doors open to this pub and it instantly felt very welcoming. We had the Guiness Beef Stew and it was absolutely amazing, we also had the mud cake for dessert to top it off. We had our fur child with us, so we set up to eat outside, but the pub owner insisted us to come into the bar area with our dog to eat. It was an amazing experience to be able to eat inside a pub with our dog. It was a wonderful experience all round and highly recommended for dog owners. Thank you!

I booked to stay here for 7 nights and ended up extending to 10. I enjoyed my cosy room and being able to have a good drink and a great laugh with everyone in the pub.
Would eat dinner here most nights, very generous size for the cost and never disappointed.
Ive came back to visit Fergus and Jodi the owners many times since!
Would recommend here for anyone and everyone

So I just had the absolute best chicken Parmigiana I've ever had.
If I were a Jerilderie local I'd be eating at the Colony in as often as I could. If you are passing through and it's food time stop here! The chips perfect the gravy sauce as good as it comes. The staff were all super friendly and accommodating. The beer glasses are clean, the tables are well set out. If your a family you can sit in a clean restaurant area with a kids area in view. If you want the bar you can eat there instead of the family room. I simply cannot fault anything about this place

Huge thanks to the Colony Inn Hotel Motel. Fergus went above and beyond to save us after our travel agent mistakenly booked us into their neighbour’s so called ‘accommodation’ (see previous review). Even though the hotel was fully booked, Fergus offered us a house just down the street which was perfect for our group. The pub itself is the real deal: authentic Aussie atmosphere, cold drinks, and hands down the best food in town. The T-bone steak was next level, absolutely banging. Fergus is a legend and a top bloke. We had a cracking couple of nights and couldn’t recommend the place more.
