To anyone selling their cafe, I cannot recommend these guys highly enough. Lucas and Barn are excellent business brokers. They were professionals every step of the way. They communicated and supported the "sale-to-settlement" process from beginning to end and they achieved a very good sale price. From my first enquiry they were very responsive, realistic and proactive. I was in a difficult situation and they understood the brief. Lucas kept in regular communication and provided support the whole way through, and he helped me organise all the right documents for selling before going to market so there was nothing in the way once a buyer was found. Within days of engaging them, they had qualified buyers having inspections after hours, and they had a buyer with a paid deposit not long after. Barn and the team went above and beyond in what was a complex sale process. Multiple entities selling at a price point which required serious due diligence from any prospective buyer lead to a lengthy and involved exercise. Barn firstly screened an enormous field of interested parties down to only those who could successfully transact saving a massive amount of time for me personally. From there, Barn then dealt with prospective local and international buyers across the full spectrum of experience from those who needed their hands held the whole way to those who needed to be reined in. Once the best buyer was found Barn took the lead in the closing stages, liaising with not just the buyer but with accountants, solicitors, landlords, banks, external advisors, financiers and more. He maintained my best interest at all times without ever misleading the buyer to the point that I'd happily use Retail Business again on either side of a future transaction.
