I question why anyone would place a photo of their dece**ed child on their own fridge, in their own home, and expect that to be used against them.
For my property manager to discuss that photo in that context, when she had never spoken to me face-to-face for more than five minutes, and to then mock my grief and comment on a situation she knew nothing about, is beyond inappropriate. It was personal, private, and had absolutely nothing to do with my tenancy, or the property inspection you were supposed to conduct professionally.
Jodi, as my property manager, you had a legal and ethical duty to follow the Residential Tenancy Act. That includes respecting my right to privacy in my home.
Whether you were friends with someone for 17 years or not, they were never on my lease. We were not in a relationship. You had no right to share, mock, or discuss deeply personal matters that were none of your business - especially after an inspection in MY home.
After I confronted your boss - Trent Lloyd, your statement was anything but truthful - and you know that. You were sent a video of my home many months earlier, and you discussed its contents. You also took an unnecessary photo of my ultrasound photo during the inspection, which had nothing to do with the property condition or maintenance. You know that I had video cameras throughout the property. You lied.
You made your so-called apology about yourself and your own privacy, when it was you who breached mine, repeatedly. I gave you the opportunity to take accountability and apologise, Jodi, and you know I did. After everything you said about me in those messages, I still gave you that chance.
Instead, you made it about yourself. Then your boss responded by sending me a cease and desist after I posted an honest review, following 24 days of silence after my complaint.
Then, instead of yet again apologising, you coerced a dozen friends and other tenants to write good reviews in order to minimise my experience.
I’ve since claimed my bond through Rental Bonds Online. You Jodi, confirmed the property was left clean and tidy with no issues which was forwarded to me by the LL personally, but you have yet to approve the refund out of continued pettiness.
I’ll wait the 14 days for the bond to be released automatically, but I hope that one day you realise you were in the wrong. I never did anything to deserve what you said. You had no reason to speak of me the way you did, but I forgive you. I’m moving on. I truly hope the ugliness leaves your soul.
If you’re a tenant, be aware of your rights and document everything. My experience was traumatic and completely mishandled by Trent Lloyd, and Jodi Plant. I do not recommend this agency whatsoever.

I rented through Lloyd Property for over 2 years and in that time i received exceptional service from Jodi in Hay. She was very professional and took a lot of pride in her job.

Jodi Plant, came into my home for an inspection, breached the privacy act as stated in my agreement, and spoke of the contents of my home (an ultrasound photo) to other people. Trent Lloyd has allowed Jodi to lie and cover up her indiscretion, despite having everything in writing. This is not a professional business, Trent has even tried sending me a hand written - meritless, Cease and Desist for telling the truth.
Edit: Their true colours are shown within the new reviews that they've coerced other people to post only a few hours after mine. These are the lengths Jodi and Trent are willing to go to in order to diminish the significance of their actions towards me, rather than simply offering a genuine apology. Going as far as confiding in others to make my feelings about this situation seem invalid once again shows just how low they are willing to stoop to avoid taking responsibility for their actions. It's infuriating to see them manipulate the narrative instead of facing the hurt they've caused.
No one gets to enter my home and speak ill of my deceased loved ones like that and get away with it, especially when I've given them both the opportunity to reflect and sincerely apologise.
My home was my safe place, it wasn't a "safe place" for you to go and talk to anyone about the contents of my home after an inspection, especially regarding such an exceptionally personal item. I find it really queer that you've jumped straight to judgement, and assumptions about my ultrasound photo in MY home, rather than looking at it, and realising that I am just a grieving mother.
I can 100% guarantee if anyone else reading this, found out that someone entered your home, and they spoke about your deceased loved ones or children like that you would be fuming too.
I would think twice about this practice, because if they can do this to a perfect tenant, who always pays on time and has also increased the property condition inside and out in both rentals, then I can guarantee they can go this low towards you too.
