A group of us came in for dinner after a recommendation and after a long day travelling, was really looking forward to a nice meal... I left quite disappointed.
Food is overpriced, even if each item was executed perfectly. Have not seen a scotch that thin priced at $50, and then order a medium cooked steak, and it arrive well done...
Every fried item was taken within an inch of its life, the karaage chicken, fish cake (they call it a barramundi fritter), the enoki mushrooms they fried and put on top of the fish cake, to the cheese on the parmi... all over cooked!
The oil was either too hot, too old, or they simply cooked it too long... for the price of the menu, this is totally unacceptable. So I give the kitchen a 0.
The only saving grace for this place was the service staff. They greeted us nicely and took our orders in a timely manner. Even listened kindly to my issue and offered to retrieve the chef.
As much as I wanted to pass on the feedback to the chef, I saw no need to take them out of the kitchen as the server said she would pass on the feedback, and I truly feel she would have.

Our recent stay at Coach House was first rate. The motel is very clean, functional and reasonably priced. It was very hot during our stay but the motel room's AC and allowed us to sleep comfortably. The hosts, Scott and Damon, were exceptionally responsive during the booking process and provided excellent and personal service throughout.||The absolute must-do is to dine at the Coach House restaurant. Our group of 10 had a fantastic meal - all the pub classics were perfectly executed and very generous. The menu also has some more sophisticated options too which were outstanding. Highly recommend the pork ribs and the Thai red lamb croquettes. Steak were perfectly cooked and everyone was very happy.

Went to this venue with high hopes as in looked like it was a full house. After being served three quarter full schooners and having to ask staff to fill it up we weren’t on for the start I was hoping for. Three rounds later and continually asking for the glasses to be topped up this isn’t what I like to see from a packed pub, then ordered food for the price the flavour wasn’t there. Oysters Kilpatrick were full of the liquid from defrosting. 2 arancini balls for 22 seemed fair until I had my first bite the overcooked bread crumbs over powered the whole dish, then when trying to tell the owner about this problem I was confronted with hostility and over the top answers wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Great hotel motel. Meals may appear expensive based on menu but definitely well worth the money. Friendly polite staff in both and the bar and restaurant . Family Rooms very clean tidy and well appointed.

Bed comfy, room very clean and spacious, great shower roomy, as same with loo, recommend this to anybody travelling and off Hyway so nice and peaceful, will go back if down that way.

The rooms are clean & comfortable, the food in the dining room is without question, Excellent with a capital E and the staff are so incredibly 'country style' friendly. Kate & Naomi are so obliging, nothing seems an issue. Highly recommend the Coachhouse if you're coming to Deni
