Being a local, I often go to the pub for dinner with family or friends.
Booking a table on the website is very easy. I have always been able to get a booking at a time that I want however, I always book a few days in advance as it is a very popular venue especially at weekends.
The food portions are very generous and tasty. In all the years I have been visiting, I can’t recall ever having had a bad meal.
The service by staff is also quick , efficient and friendly. The only constructive criticism I can offer is that when I visited recently, the vinyl chairs at our table (and at others I noticed) had food and dried drink spillage on them. Fortunately for us, there were extra “clean” chairs at the table to use. However, it’s not a good look. No one likes to sit on a sticky mess. Suggest the staff clearing the tables give attention to this while wiping down the tables.
All in all, a great family orientated pub to visit for a meal.

Booked a table for eight in the bistro on Saturday night. We all had a great time. The booking was easy. The service including at the bar was friendly and efficient. The menu was extensive and the meals were tasty and plentiful. Steaks cooked accordingly. The atmosphere was great too with lots of people enjoying themselves. It was a tiny bit loud overall but you gotta expect that at a venue like this. Happy to recommend to anyone seeking a gathering of family and friends. I’ll be back! Thanks.

Came here for lunch with friends on a Sunday and the place is quite decent being my first time in the Crossroads Hotel.

The place looks nice, and the dining area is large and spacious, great for families looking for a Sunday lunch. There were plenty of families eating that day, and the place is kids friendly.

There were plenty of tables to choose from, but what we noticed is that most of the tables are not properly wiped down or cleaned. Every table went to were either not wiped, and there were still leftover crumbs from the previous diners, and the tables were sticky. (Really gross)

We managed to finally find a table that is reasonably acceptable but still had some lefover crumbs. I don't know if they were short staffed that day, but the staff should really spend some time cleaning the tables for hygienic purposes. (It is a restaurant, after all).

The food is great but a little on the pricey side. I had the Fisherman's Basket, which cost $43 for a non-member, even though the menu states it's $39 (which I should have queried). I have to admit, the Fisherman's Basket was really good, and I really enjoyed it, but it was still expensive compared to other restaurants out there that serve the same.

All in all, it's not a bad place for a nice lunch or dinner, but the place could really do with thorough cleaning/wiping of the tables, and maybe put the price of the food down a little bit.

I'm not sure if I'll come back again unless I really want that Fisherman's Basket.

I organized dinner for 5 and arrived first to find our table. A very helpful waitstaff young lady looked up the computer to find our table and took me to it. She was very friendly and made me feel welcome. I wish I had her name to advise you how good she was. The food was prepared quickly and all 5 meals were ready at the same time. All of us enjoyed the meals we had chosen.

First time visiting and we will be back. The staff are attentive, efficient and extremely nice. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and meal portions are huge. Great vibe in the large dining area.

I booked in for the Fathers Day lunch and enjoyed the Sunday Roast Carvery. The meat was cooked perfectly as were the roast veggies. The team were friendly, helpful and inviting, as they normally are. There’s a reason why this place is always busy!

My experience was a bit of a mixed bag. While the portion sizes were generous and definitely satisfying in quantity, the food itself lacked that extra touch—the kind of care and attention that makes a meal memorable. It felt more functional than flavorful, like something was missing in the preparation. With a little more passion in the cooking, this could’ve been a much better experience.

The place itself is lovely—clean, well-maintained, and with a welcoming atmosphere. The service was also commendable; the staff were friendly and attentive, which added a positive note to the visit.

We had a lovely lunch today where theyve changed up the menu and the eggplant on the entree menu is a fantastic addition. You must try! The lamb skewers were also tender and delicious. Service was great, and great to go on a quiet weekday!
