We had such a wonderful experience with Anni as our wedding planner! From day one, she understood our needs and vision, offering helpful advice, guidance and support throughout the whole process. Having planned our wedding from interstate, we definitely could not have done it without Anni's expertise.

On our wedding day, the Colour 18 team were professional, friendly and attentive throughout our Tea Ceremony, Wedding Ceremony and Reception. Anni, our wedding planner, worked tirelessly to make our wedding day possible. She took our vision of a modern wedding but paying homage to tradition and culture and brought it to life with such specificity that it's as if she’s reached into the pages of our dreams and made them reality. Having a point person who can co-ordinate with a set of suppliers who have worked with her and understand each other's working styles is highly valuable and shouldnt be underestimated.

We stumbled upon Anni and Colour18 with a view to hire traditional dress, and didn't realise she also did wedding planner (with a vast network of suppliers). Within 1 meeting, we had a high level of confidence she could execute and deliver on our vision. The depth of her experience and know-how in the wedding industry helped guide us to what would work best within the constraints of our time and budget, to create the highest return in not only value, but entertainment/enjoyment for the day and our guests. Anni is very organised, with sync in points of actions and updates in the lead up to the wedding and accountability on all parties/stakeholders involved, perfect for working professionals who don't have the time to organise!

We both hired and made certain traditional dresses (Pictured), and they were the highest quality and made our parents and relatives very proud and happy.

The flowers and decorations (Pictured) were beautiful and once again, Anni managed to bring to life our colour scheme with advice throughout of what colour combinations would work best (including what older generations may prefer).

Her team of Make up artists once again were well versed with the wedding industry, and in the words of my wife (the bride), one of them felt like a bridesmaid, knowing when to touch up, helping take some BTS photos and general emergencies.

Her other recommendations exceeded our expecations and we would not have had the knowledge or idea to get into contact especially the ones who could speak multiple languages.

It felt like yesterday... I stumbled across Anni and Colour18 by chance whilst Google searching for a place which provided traditional Chinese tea ceremony dresses. Unlike most brides, I had no idea what I wanted for my big day - no colour schemes, no dress preference, no hair and makeup preference - in other words, I was lost and oblivious to what a wedding required.

I had an appointment with Anni with the intentions of purchasing a custom-made cheongsam. Instead I ended up picking one of Anni's packages which really helped ease my stress during the wedding planning! There were original concerns wondering what the final product would be like as I didn't know anyone who used her services and I didn't know what to expect but all those doubts were for nothing!

Being in the industry for so long, Anni knew exactly what we were looking for and made so many suggestions (which kept our parents happy). She went above and beyond to deliver the best she could given the circumstances (with recent flooding it meant a price increase and lower number of florals).

Thank you Anni (no amount of words could express how thankful and grateful I am towards you) - for all of your advice, wisdom, patience, dedication and hard work. I really wouldn't have known what to do without you. I'm pretty sure if I didn't find you I would have given up on a wedding! You recommended a skin specialist to me, got your husband involved to help distribute our different bonbonnieres, found gorgeous dresses which suited me (I know I'm not your average body type), kept the night running smoothly so no one would have to approach us with questions - but before all that you helped plan this beautiful wedding which everyone really, really loved and enjoyed! (Quite literally.. Anni did all my thinking for me and knew what I wanted before I knew it myself).

1. Doy - The wedding cake was as we had envisioned (and tasted so good too - so moist and flavourful).
2. Vivi (my makeup artist for the day) - She followed me around all day to touch up my hair and makeup from the early morning until late at night. She helped me get into my dress as well as helped me get around all day. Thank you so much for making me look and feel beautiful and for all of your hard work.
3. Selina - For patiently fitting me into every single dress each time we had a fitting and for making our venue look beautiful. You really went above and beyond.
4. Florist - For all our bouquets and buttonholes but especially our beautiful reception (photos don't do it justice)
5. Guy - Our lovely limo driver who was such a gentleman!

I was waiting for more photos to be released before I wrote this post but didn't want to wait too long! I hope you finally get to have your much deserved holiday after all we've put you through! Thank you again for our beautiful wedding - I hope you don't retire too soon because a lot of brides (like me) would benefit from having someone like you by their side!

With less than 3 months to plan our big day, overwhelmed and in a panic, we took our chances and hired colour 18 to help us. Let me start off by saying Anni came in and saved the day, she took the stress out and was able to deliver everything we wanted, above and beyond. Anni is very experienced in the industry and is committed to excellence, what I liked about her service was that she gave advice while being respectful and flexible with our decisions, and our budget. Especially recommended if you are Australian with Chinese speaking parents/family as she was able to cater to all our needs and keep all parties happy.
