Me and the family are not happy with how everything ran during my brother's reception. The basic summary before I get into details is "ALL TALK, NO SHOW".

1. The guest list display was missing names that were provided on the guest list.
2. We didn't receive half of the entrees that we originally agreed upon. We never said anything about samosas, but we got them anyway. Each table only received 2 entrees even though every table should have got them. I don't even recall seeing the Lamb Seekh Rampuri that we agreed on.
3. Our schedule was running on time, so I don't understand why the food was delayed by 15-30 minutes.
4. The main course hardly had any meat in it. Just looked like it was just different cooked sauces. The naan bread was always gone when guests were looking for it.
5. The kids' meals weren't even cooked with the rest of the main course. Even when they were served, which was at 9:30pm, the kids had already left. It was only 2 plates of 3 nuggets and a handful of chips.
6. We asked for the desserts to be presented the same way as the taste testing, and of course they were not.
7. Desserts were not served to the tables and looked like shit. The ginger creme brulee looked like custard. The kulfi was already partially melted before guests even got any. There were 2 desserts that we never discussed and we never informed of it until your staff started bringing them out.
8. We weren't even told that the fruit platter had even been served. We paid for 14 fruit platters, 1 for each table, but there was only one platter near the exit.
9. Majority of the time we couldn't even find Pari whenever we needed to ask her something. She should be out on the floor making sure everything is happening correctly, not hiding in the office or kitchen.

All of these make my family look bad and inconsiderate because of your company and staff's inability to prepare food correctly for an event.

The food was great, but 2 things need to be improved

1: Dessert was served after half of the guests were left, and I complained not once twice to get the dessert, but they made no effort.

2: Down lights right about the buffet setup aren't working, and when I questioned as it's pretty dark, I was told they need to be replaced. Then why didn't you replace it?

Don't be taken in. I have been very misled when trying to organise a booking at the Centre. After submitting an enquiry I received a call scheduling for a "first" meeting to discuss the event. However, the Centre is being renovated. At the end of the discussion they told me my meeting was with Deep Gurjal at Angelos restaurant nearby because of the renovations. I clarified the renovations would be finished by the time of my event in August. They confirmed - it was just for the meeting. They squeezed me into a "slot". After 2 written reminders and a phone call to remind me to come to the meeting, I arrived at the designated time to be told by the one waiter- - not the person I was to meet that he would "take care of me". After he told me where the table would be set, I questioned whether the event was to be at the Centre and he said he understood at Angelos. He then put me at a side table that had a dirty coffee cup and said he had to attend to other customers. He handed me a booklet with function packages that were nothing like the ones for the Concord Function Centre on the website. For the next 20 minutes he ignored me and served the 3 other tables, at which point I walked out. Even avoided eye contact and never asked if I had questions or offered me a cup of coffee. If the lies that were told in the marketing phone calls and the attention I got when I had booked a time and given up my time are any indication of the way service is provided, there is no way I would give them my business. It was nothing short of rude. I live in the area and will not recommend them to anyone. The function centre and Angelos are run by the same owners.

My son Norman was abused at this function centre, despite being autistic and greeting the staff he was molested outside the bathroom multiple times by event staff and his friend brad stood outside and recorded the whole ordeal. As a mother i am sickened that my only son was abused at this centre by his best friend and event staff. My norman is my light in this dark world and him being molested devastated me too my core. DONT COME TOO THIS PLACE IT IS NOT SAFE FOR AUTISTIC KIDS!!!

I’ve had the pleasure of celebrating my son’s first birthday and my 40th birthday (twice!) at Concord Function Centre, and each experience has been nothing short of exceptional. The venue is always spotless, beautifully maintained, and provides the perfect setting for any special occasion. The food is simply outstanding—delicious, flavorful, and never greasy. You can tell the team puts great effort into every dish.

What really sets Concord apart is the professionalism of the staff. They pay attention to even the smallest details to ensure everything goes smoothly, and their level of care is rare to find. I’ve been to many venues where staff appear disinterested, but not here—everyone is attentive, engaged, and dressed professionally. This level of service made all our events truly memorable.

For anyone looking for a five-star experience, I highly recommend Concord Function Centre. It’s a venue that consistently exceeds expectations in every way.

We recently celebrated my daughter's 10th birthday at Concord Function Centre and had an amazing experience! The venue was perfect for our party, with plenty of space for the kids to run around and play. The food was delicious and plentiful, with a great variety of options for both kids and adults. But what really made the party stand out was the exceptional service from the staff. They were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. From setting up to cleaning up, they took care of everything, allowing us to focus on celebrating with our guests. Special thanks to Deep and his team for their outstanding service. We were absolutely thrilled with our experience at Concord Function Centre for my sister’s sangeet! From start to finish, everything was impeccable.

Deep and the staff were incredibly attentive and professional, ensuring every detail was taken care of with a warm and friendly demeanor. The food was amazing, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Guests couldn’t stop raving about it.

Really disappointed to share this feedback from our event last weekend, especially given the lead up we felt was at times unprofessional, confusing and somewhat not organised, which Deep the manager also acknowledged and gave us his word and reassured us it would be different on the day.

It was as if the CFC had never run a Lebanese event before... even though we were advised they had. One of the few examples, the mezza was being removed from the tables for the mains to come out, instead of being replenished.

Adults were up in arms that the children (19 of our guests were children as per the event list) were served last. Regardless of the meal option for them which is a whole other situation, children have never be fed last in any of my experience. - lebanese or not. If you werent sitting at your seat, as in in the toilets or mingling or taking photos you werent served a meal. This included us who were at the head table.

To the point one of the most influential guests mentioned afterwards "I don't think they knew what they were doing, the were out of their depth"

All the way through to it being evident that the team was extremely short staffed; we had guests leaving before the mains, and it appeared the venue had not been cleaned since the day prior when we were there. An example being, the snail trails under the forward tables, and there was dead cockroaches on the floor where the canapes were being served. I was actually advised to tell the children to not crawl on the floor in that area due to it.

My husband mentioned there was way too much mezza left over, im talking kilos (hummus and Labneh) but the team didn't have takeaway containers so we had to leave the majority of it, even though the manager called my husband earlier in the day saying there wasn't enough and started to mix their own yoghurt in with the externally catered labneh - without permission.

My cake supplier turned up to deliver our cakes for the event the morning of, to find another persons wedding cake on our cake stand..

Overall, it was a really poor reflection of brand for both Manjits and Concord Function Centre, and Im quite simply embarrassed. Especially for the investment paid, you'd expect better.

I had tried to contact Deep the manager to provide this feedback directly, however have received no acknowledgement or response. Again super disappointing and unprofessional.
