We recently had our wedding at the beautiful Melross and couldn’t have asked for a more brilliant experience. We had looked at several venues before picking Melross, but settled on it after realising it was the right fit for us. Everything about our wedding weekend was picture perfect - the accomodation was exactly what we needed as the bridal party, the garden was spectacular for our ceremony, the barn was exactly the size and atmosphere we needed for our reception, and the cottage was the most cozy end to our perfect day. It was truly the best day of our lives. Terrene and John were incredible to work with from start to finish. A particular thanks to Terrene for her relaxed energy in the week prior - I’m sure I threw out some very stupid questions! Our only wish is that we could go back and do it all again. We had an amazing wedding weekend and am so delighted we picked The Barn on Melross for our wedding!
We wanted to choose a venue where we could stay on-site, offer rooms for our close family and bridal party; and have the ceremony plus reception all close-by.
Melross Farm ticked all our boxes. It was our first and only venue inspection, we both were absolutely smitten by the open landscape and stunning escarpments encircling the property. We both loved Terrene's approach and attitude, she gave us a great tour of the whole property with suggestions for photos and really clear guidance for the day.
The venue location in Kangaroo Valley is perfect - close to town but quiet and peaceful all on its own.
We enjoyed a two night stay using both houses on the property (Millet House and Rye House), both were perfect for our guests.
Lastly, the wedding!! The Barn looks amazing even without your own decorations, the space is open and clean but showcases the natural surroundings. We didn't need to do much to enhance the existing beauty which was a great relief.
We ended up needing the wet-weather option but the view was still the showstopper for our ceremony.
The reception was amazing, the venue manager was so helpful and just made everything perfect for us, attending to any need we had on the night.
We had a perfect wedding and are so grateful and happy we chose to have it at Melross & Willows Estate, thank you to everyone here for helping to give us our dream wedding. We already have friends wanting to re-book the homes for a weekend away, we all fell in love with the place!

As a wedding photographer who has worked at this venue numerous times, I can easily say that Melross is hands down the best wedding venues! I always look forward to photographing here as the landscape is just stunning and always makes for the perfect backdrop in wedding photos! Don't even get me started on how good the sunset can be when you head up to the top paddock. The staff are top notch too, super friendly and always going above and beyond for their couples. I always have a great experience when working here! Would highly recommend this venue for your wedding!

My husband and I got married at Melross and we could not have been happier. It is truly a perfect venue! The scenery is unmatched and we got so many compliments from guests that it was the most beautiful wedding venue they had ever been to. The barn itself is stunning and has fantastic amenities. The accommodation is beautiful, clean, comfortable and has everything that you would need. Terrene and John were easy to communicate with and helped make the wedding planning process seamless. We hope we get the chance to come back!

I can’t recommend Melross and Willows Estate any more for your wedding. It is the perfect venue. From having on site accomodation for our whole family and bridal party, being dog friendly to the magical setting- it was simply incredible. Terrene and John were amazing to communicate with and made the entire wedding planning process so easy. We had so many guests comment on the stunning back drop and beautiful grounds. We are so happy we chose The Barn on Melross for our wedding and look forward to coming back to stay for our anniversaries to come!

We had our wedding at Melross in May 2022 and honestly couldn't fault a thing. The venue itself is like no other, with charming views in every direction and a fantastic atmosphere. The accommodation was comfortable and made for an incredible weekend with our nearest and dearest. The cows and sheep were a particularly fun element!

Terrene was fantastic to work with, both in the lead up to and over the weekend. Communication was efficient and she even went so far as coordinating emergency logistics with vendors on the day when a car accident blocked the only sealed road in to KV, relieving my wife and I of huge stress.

I would highly recommend Melross to anyone looking for a venue with that wow factor. It certainly ticked all our boxes and more, and we will forever cherish the memories made.
