The room was clean and a good size ... we'll equipped.

The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I've come across in all the accommodation I've stayed at. I hardly slept and was very achey the next day.

It was a disability room. The only disability aid it had was a rail in the shower.... nothing for the toilet.

We won't be staying again due to the uncomfortable bed.

The grounds were unkempt.

Arrival was at 5pm and at that time there is no one to greet you. The keys are left for you.
The room had some renovations and looked freshly painted but the bathroom door was dirty.
The room also had a bad smell coming from the bathroom. The bed was old and a hard mattress.
There was heating but the reverse aircon unit had some mould inside and looked old.
It was just an overnight stay for a birthday party. That was enough.

Great location, lovely little motel with ample parking. Softest towels, but loudest pipes! When you turn on the shower it's so noisy, the pipes bang and vibrate. But the rooms are so cozy, electric blankets, heaters and mink blankets! Loved the French doors that open up to the front gardens. Lovely family joint, will definitely come back!

Disappointing. On arrival there was no one about. Just a bunch of envelopes left on the front counter with room keys. Our room had no towels and the phone number for the place just rings out. We have gone wandering around the place looking for someone to assist but could not find anyone. Water pipes are super noisy (presumably from other people with towels). Light switch in the bathroom is broken and an electrical hazard. I rarely write reviews, however this place really needs to improve.

Just off the highway, this was a great place to stay.

We had issues on our road trip, and didn't arrive until late at night, but the staff made sure everything was ready for us to walk into our room upon arrival.

The room was very clean and pleasant with friendly staff. The bathroom was modern with great facilities. The car parking was great and the motel was extremely safe with beautiful grounds around. I had a lovely time staying here for six weeks.

The Poplars Inn is located on the Old Hume Highway in Braemar which is about 5km from Mittagong. It's not the most conveniently located accommodation as guests need to drive to restaurants or shops. There is a bit of traffic noise from the main road outside, and light sleepers may be disturbed.|The gardens of the property are looking a bit unkempt, and the motel generally looks in need of a freshen up.|Whilst the the room had an older "vibe", it was reasonably clean and comfortable. The bathroom looks like it has been recently renovated.|Increasingly, I'm finding that there isn't any interaction with staff at hotels and motels and the Poplar Inn is no exception. On arrival, there was an envelope with my room key on the counter, and on departure you close the door and leave the key in the room.|In summary, the Polars Inn is an OK place for a night, but I would suggest there are several better options in the Southern Highlands.

A comfortable stay. Rain shower shower heads was really good. Plenty of room and storage space. Reasonable tarrif too. Would stay there again.
