This cafe offers a charming and cozy atmosphere with a touch of elegance. The brunch options are diverse and satisfying, and the coffee is top-notch. I especially love their lattes , mixed juice and the chef special chilli egg .It’s the perfect spot to start your day or unwind in the afternoon. Highly recommended

The Kookabar cafe down in Bowral is just located off the main street near the Coles carpark.
I had breakfast of Eggs Benedict with bacon. Plenty of bacon and the eggs were perfect.
The staff are friendly and you can practise your French with the owner.
Defo a place to check out if you're down this way. They also have lunch.

Sad. I was so excited for the avocado stack without feta (as i dont eat dairy or eggs). And instead I was brought sourdough with avo and two poached eggs, no balsamic and no rocket (as it was advertised on the menu). When I asked for it to be remade cause I dont eat eggs and it said nowhere on the menu there was eggs the eggs were simply taken off leaving the residue of eggs and strands of poached eggs. This was just the beginning… I was surprised by the amount of avocado as it was the perfect heaping.. This only lasted a few seconds until I took the top toast off the bottom and the images below will hopefully explain everything… When I attempted to ask staff to get it remade everyone turned heads to our table and we were never asked how our meals were. For $22 this was really sad.

extensive menu usually with some surprising specials and other non- standard cafe fare. Good, tasty food cooked and baked by the owner/chef. Friendly and efficient service, again personally overseen by the owner/chef who has often served us.

Prices also are reasonable.

On this last occasion I had the ham minestrone soup with sourdough bread which was delicious.
