My wife Lyn and I moved to LDK about two years ago. We were attracted by what was offered through LDK Aspire Aged Care, particularly the possibility of remaining together in our apartment as Lyn's dementia progressed. I was also worried about what would happen if I was no longer able to provide care for her. We are both very content with the level of care provided and the flexibility in managing our changing care requirements.

When considering care, one should focus on more than the narrow view of physical care. The environment created here is warm, welcoming and wholesome and that provides an atmosphere where one feels relaxed and where issues can be addressed in a friendly way. That is the difference LDK offers.

My mother initially came to LDK Greenway Views for a few weeks of respite care, with the intention of returning home to her apartment afterwards. However, she quickly reassessed her needs, and she and the whole family were so impressed with the place that she made a rapid decision to move in as a permanent resident.

Staff in all areas and at all levels have been unfailingly supportive and responsive in their approach. LDK may not be the cheapest aged care option, but with its simple financial model, high quality services and facilities, and individually-tailored care, it must be the market leader in value-for-money.

As someone who has managed aged and community services, I know excellent standards when I see them. A positive organizational culture is not always easy to define, but LDK's shines through. The family has complete confidence that our mother will be as happy and healthy as possible at Greenway Views. And most importantly, so does she.
