We loved our home away from home, and were sad to leave. We had a great experience from check in to check out, and staff were lovely and helpful. Whilst the hotel is an older building, it was well maintained and clean and felt very welcoming. Our room was comfortable and clean, including the beds, and has very thoughtful inclusions (such as full fridge, microwave, washer/dryer, vacuum etc). Was handy having free access to WiFi. Our kids loved the pool area, especially the heated spa with bubbles. We enjoyed talking with some of the long term residents who were very friendly and welcoming. Loved the location, and the convenience of a park (and fish and chip shop) being across the road. Will definitely stay again!

We stayed in apartment 324 and the set out was good design but that’s about it. We arrived and the management was lovely but the apartment was very uncleaned. The cleaner needs to know how to clean, the amount of dust and mould in the rooms was disgusting. The fans are old and outdated and don’t work in one of the rooms, the vaccum cleaner was broken, no mop, no toilet bins, appliances are outdated. The lounge was so old the timber was coming out the side of the lounge was like they just got a free one from marketplace. Pretty poor paying $3900 for 9 nights. The owners need to fix and replace stuff in the unit, need new appliances for the kitchen, new lounge, vaccum and no mop.
The amount of dust on the fans and tv unit was shocking and a lot of cockroach’s.
The pool and bbq facilities are great but not the unit, the cleaners need to clean everything under the lounge, beds, dust and mop the cleaning was shocking and unsatisfactory, a thong, lego and cucumber under the bed and rubbish. The cleaner needs to be replaced. Sorry but 1 star for me and I won’t be back. The pictures r nothing like the apartments stay elsewhere. The fans haven’t been cleaned in years. The cleaners need to be accountable and make sure it’s cleaned and hygiene.

Where do I begin.|From booking, to checking in, to our amazing stay and leaving as part of the Sandcastles Family and everything in between was PERFECT. I cannot credit the staff enough. They were nothing short of amazing.|We stayed with a large group as a suprise for my mums 70th Birthday. We pulled the suprise off with ease thanks to the amazing staff who went above and beyond to help make mums birthday special.||We made great use of the pool and spa. Ate a few meals at the tables near the pool and had a big BBQ Breakfast for Fathers days cooked on the resorts BBQ.||The location is perfect for all ages. My teens easily hopped on the bus to head into surfers. The park across the road was perfect for the younger ones and fishing across the road most mornings was enjoyed by many in our group.|Very short stroll to get great fish and chips, a good pub and a delicious pizza!||Can't wait to visit again!||Oh and the sunrise.... WOW!

Had a family relative staying at the place everything was good except my relative forgot his mobile charger in the Room 126 so upon arriving in Sydney he gave me a call asked if I could just check it with the accomodation place upon checking with them they tell me there was no charger in the room and cleaner didn’t give them any charger so either the cleaner is lying or the management doesn’t matter how good the place is if this is the service you provide it all means nothing.

What a great place: very friendly, kind and helpful service (they went out of their way to make our stay very pleasant); amazing apartment that was clean, well equipped and very comfortable; facilities were great too especially the beautiful pool complete with a gorgeous resident water dragon Larry. Would highly recommend this place to anyone!

We stayed in 3 bedroom apartment and it was perfect. There was plenty of room for our family and we enjoyed beautiful views from the two balconies. The place was clean and had everything we needed. The pool is a decent size and the spa was hot. Pool hours are are great - 7am to 10pm. The location is ideal - right on the beach but far enough away from busy Surfers. Heaps of food options in walking distance and its just down the road from Harbour Town. Highly recommend.

We are a family of five and recently stayed at Sandcastles - it was great! The pool was amazing and my children spent a lot of time in it. It is the perfect location if you don't want to stay in the heart of Surfers and close to all the attractions. Yes the room was a bit older but it was clean and comfortable and we will definitely be back 🙂
