Dave and Linda were great hosts. Communication leading up to our visit was very clear which was appreciated arriving late on a Saturday night. Lovely clean and very well equipped resort with a beautiful pool and comfy lounges. Bus access at front of resort was really handy too. I was on the top floor and had a great view. No lift though so if you have a heavy suitcase like I did, it can be a struggle getting up the stairs so I took some things out and made a couple of trips up and down. Loved Magnetic Island - such a chill vibe.

10/10. Fantastic location, fronts on to grassed area in front of beach, playground close by. Large rooms equip with everything needed, a little dated but plenty of space. We had views from our room and lovely, easy stroll around the bay to see and feed the Rock Wallabies. (Kids loved that!).

Special thanks to the super friendly hosts Dave and Linda, they couldn’t do enough to help! Very clean ammenities, gorgeous pool (partly shaded) and spa, large BBQ area, only 2 mins to Foodworks and some great restaurants / cafes with a hip vibe a couple of streets away. All this whilst being hidden away and very quiet! Great value, we cannot recommend enough.. We will definitely return!!!

Review for Island Palms Resort

I recently stayed at Island Palms Resort and had a fantastic experience. The amenities were excellent, especially the braai areas by the pool, which made for a great outdoor atmosphere. The location was also very convenient, making it easy to explore the surrounding area.

A special mention to Dave and Linda, who were incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived until our departure. Their hospitality and helpfulness made our stay even more enjoyable. I’d definitely recommend Island Palms Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-equipped getaway!

Absolutely enjoyed our time at Island Palms Resort Magnetic Island North Queensland,☀️ The check-in process was seamless, with incredibly friendly owners. Our room is impressively spacious and equipped with everything one could possibly need, including a quirky addition - a special second throne for the hubby 🚽😂. The convenience of having our own washer & dryer and access to a pool/spa adds to the overall comfort. Not to forget the stunning rooftop BBQ area. Thrilled to be on the top floor, relishing the prime view of Cleveland Bay – truly living the high life! 🌴🌟

This has to be one of the best timeshares around. Congrats Dave & Linda on running a great resort. Your warmth & friendliness, even before we arrived and then throughout our stay, made a huge difference! Comfortable beds, well appointed apartments, beautiful pool & good location. Loved the fact that fishing gear & kayaks are available to be borrowed. The hire car was great. I recommend doing the short walk along the waterfront out the front, towards the marina & the shipwreck, at sunset when the rock wallabies come out!

Had some minor issues but Dave and Linda sorted them out quite quickly. Every other aspect of our stay was great. We had a heap of fun in the pool and we made good use of the poolside and rooftop barbecues. Overall, we had a really enjoyable stay.

Our stay in Island Palms Resort was such a delight and an amazing experience! Everything about the resort is excellent, close proximity to supermarket, places to eat, the bus stop is right at your door step, etc. The resort is well maintained and clean and the rooms were spacious for 4 people in a 2 bedroom unit. We had a balcony overlooking the pool. We spend most of our afternoons in the pool after exploring the island during the day. The book in our room has lots of information about Magnetic Island and that was our bible! Linda and Dave were very helpful and answers all our questions. We wanted to do a twilight sip and sail as a last minute decision and Linda was able to assist us with booking the sail boat Pilgrim Sailing with a very short notice. We were very grateful because the sip and sail was one of the highlights in our holiday! Also, we found a very nice wine bar which is only a walking distance to the resort it is called the 'Smuggler's Wine Bar'. Aside from nice selection of wines, they serve tapas and our favorite was the chilli garlic prawns for our mains, We will definitely be coming back to the resort and Magnetic Island.

Great timeshare resort opposite beach, free snorkel equipment, friendly managers/staff. Nice deck. Big 2bdr 2 bathroom apartment with full kitchen and laundry. Bus stops at front door. Short distance from Nelly Bay shops and close to Peppers resort where there was free live music every night for a special event. Tropical paradise that should not be missed.
