Dinner at the restaurant on Saturday night and the food was fantastic.
Service was amazing. The staff were excellent and as we had an allergy at our table they took care of us and answered all our questions

Stars for the modernised venue but that's where it ends for us.

We went back to try the lunch specials or 'club classics menu' but not much had changed except the price increase averaging $16 per meal.

Garlic prawns - bland, mostly gravy, tiny prawns, zero garlic flavour, not creamy
Steaks - dry, small, more gravy pls, waited ages, pepper gravy tasted weird
Fish - overcooked, dry, small like fish finger size.
Pork - average, could do with more flavour

"serves seems like cut down version of the full price menu, nice presentation but lacking substance and flavour, waited ages for a tiny steak, hard to find staff when busy, charging $10 to eat our own birthday cake after spending almost $200 in meals and drinks". We won't be coming back.

Fifth Avenue Cafe. Always a great fresh dinner including the late night menu. Staff are always friendly, Cafe and club is always clean, security are always helpful. Bar pricing is always reasonable. Parking is plentiful. A great venue which caters to many needs. Friday and Saturday nights the bands are always great.

Been coming here once a week almost for the past few months since moving to the area. Everything here is fantastic. I love all their steaks, always cooked to perfection. I’m gluten free so end up eating steak most of the time when i go out and Norths never fails to cook mine perfectly. I’ve tried the past few cocktails of the month and they are incredible. I also don’t know what they put in the French martini’s but they are better than any others I’ve tried. All the staff are lovely and so attentive. Not to mention how beautiful the venue itself plus it always smells great. Everyone I’ve brought in with me thinks it’s fantastic too. Keep it up, I’ll be back.

Came to the club for the Fleetwood Mac tribute show.
Had dinner before the show. The service in the restaurant was perfect, fast and efficient. Staff were friendly and pleasant. The meal was also exceptional.
The size of the culb took us by surprise, there a large choice of areas to sit and relax.
The only down side was the fact that the bar staff do need to be more receptive and responsive to people that come to the bar. I did spend quite a considerable amount of time waiting to be served because myself and several other patron were on the opposite side of the bar. Also it would be advantageous that all staff be properly trained in KENO, there was a staff member that avoided the KENO terminal which resulted in missed games.
Saying this, the majority of the floor staff were very friendly and professional. The security staff also conducted themselves in a curtious and professional manner,friendly and helpful.

Always have a great time visiting Norths! The staff are so friendly and accommodating, they are always happy to assist you and provide quality service. As for the restaurant and cafe - there’s delicious food at amazing prices for members and so many options available on their extensive menus. Love the $5 beers and wines in the sports bar on Saturday arvo! Gaming room is huge with new machines all the time, plus the old favourites. It’s my local and I’m so happy I have such a great venue so close to home. Thanks Norths!

Norths Ladies & Services Club is a cozy spot with a real community vibe. The moment you walk in, it feels inviting, like a place where locals gather to unwind. The menu offers a good range, and the food doesn’t disappoint—fresh, hearty, and reasonably priced. What really stands out, though, is the staff. They're friendly without being pushy, and genuinely make the effort to ensure you have a great experience. The club also hosts regular events, from live music to trivia nights, which adds to its charm. Whether you’re there for a casual meal or just a drink, it’s a solid place to kick back.

Food was pretty good. Service not so much. First seated under a broken light and when we asked to move the server said no. Then we asked another server who put us in front of the Aircon which was pumping. Anyway, Barramundi and schnitzel were good. just let down by the service
