After several events with the AUS Fitness Expo. We have decided to distance ourselves from them. As this group don’t value their clients. Last during the last day of the expo Dane comes over and sells me a stand for next year. The push for us to resign was incredible. However later we realised that Dane had sold us an event for Melbourne when we had requested for Sydney only. After this they started to chase us for $1300 cancelation fee during the cooling period. Holly Doughty comes out flexing legal threats against us for the $1300 cancelation fee. We explained to Holly that we purchased a stand for Sydney not Melbourne. She stated well this your own fault for not reading your contract correctly and she made it seem like they were doing me a favour. For all future clients of the AUS Fitness Expo, I strongly suggest to watch out how you deal with this company, they’re only money grabbing company and they like for clients to bring famous public figures at your expense and not theirs. They are constantly asking vendors to supply public fitness figures so they can look good, but they don’t offer to pay any money for the vendors public appearances. Stay away from their services

We contacted Dane on the 22nd May 2025 to cancel, spoke and then Holly i spoke with on the phone today and she and was completely un-compassionate, and again saying loose the $3,000+ (this is a total of nearly 4 months notice i provided before the show is due to take place at the end of September... Steer clear. Yet they'll happily take your deposits/full balances and then re charge some one else to put in your spot. They rush you to sign the contract and they're terms of cancelation is excessive. Minimum 6 months which gives you no breathing time to re consider. We will be going to Fair Trading as they're offer to fortfit our spot and loose the money is really bad business. If it were a month out or days out fair enough but since may they're basically holding us ransom to this contract which they pressure and rush you to go into.
