Amazing service and amazing food. Been here a few times now and it’s always a great experience. Had the schnitzel and steak and both were great. The steak was cooked perfectly and was tender. The pepper sauce wasnt too great so i’ll probably stick to mushroom next time. The salt and pepper calamari and buffalo wings were fantastic. Pub is always clean and always has a very friendly diverse crowd. Very clean and plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. Convenient QR table ordering system available also. Pricing of food was very decent also especially for the quality.

Amazing service. Friendly bar staff greeted me with a big smile and a hello how are you!
Especially glad they bring the food to your table so you don’t have to go collect it like at so many other pubs.
The lovely serving lady was so friendly and helpful and kind today!

Even a nice man came and asked how our meal was. Seriously nice friendly staff.

Few kids there too so it’s a nice family atmosphere earlier on. Not many vegan or vegetarian or gluten friendly meals for the adults but the quinoa bowl was fresh and delicious! And amazing service makes up for it.
Kids loved their chips.

Great local pub. Kind staff, always a welcoming vibe.

Cosy front bar with plenty of space, reasonable dining section and a nice outdoor deck to catch some sun and enjoy a bev or to watch some sport or catch some live music.

Easy to get to if you’re a local or an easy Inner West train ride with Summer Hill Station pretty much dropping you at the front door of the pub 🍻

Any enjoyable space with a good mix of all ages from the inner west.

Not to mention, Guinness on tap and it’s reasonably priced. 🖤

Good pub, but a few issues.
The food is tasty, though a bit on the pricey side. One major downside is the layout—smoke from the designated smoking area tends to drift into the main food seating area, which can really ruin the dining experience. A review of the layout or better smoke control would go a long way in improving the atmosphere.

I stopped by the summer hill hotel and had the pleasure of being served by Nomi? I believe it was. From the moment I walked in, they made me feel welcome friendly smile, quick greeting, and even remembered my drink order after just one visit.

Not only were the cocktails perfectly balanced (seriously, their espresso martini might be the best I’ve ever had), but the service was fast even with a packed bar. They somehow managed to keep up with orders, chat with customers, and keep the vibe fun all at the same time.

What really stood out was their attention to detail wiping down the bar between customers, making sure everyone had water, and checking in without being intrusive. You can tell they genuinely enjoy their work and care about the people they’re serving.

If you ever visit the summer hill hotel, ask for nomi. They’ll not only make you a fantastic drink, but they’ll make you feel like a regular from the moment you sit down.

The food was great, our server had a great energy and really made our night the best. So efficient and quick, plus the food was reasonably priced for the size! Highly recommend this place for a casual night out.

Came in for a feed and got the lamb souvlaki, salt and pepper calamari and chips. The lamb souvlaki was beautifully tender and perfectly seasoned. The green sauce (whatever it was, was delicious). My only recommendation is that the flatbread is left soft and untoasted (as it was quite hard and I didn’t have the option to eat it with the meat wrapped inside of it…. I had to break it into pieces like a cracker and dip it in the tzisiki. The salt and pepper calamari also tasted great, however could have benefited from being cooked a smidgen longer. The chips were nice and crunchy with the perfect amount of seasoning… so no complaints there. Many seats available indoors and outdoors and the premises was clean. Food came out very fast and was prepared fresh. Service was phenomenal (very friendly and attentive). Everything was perfect except the hard pita (semi crispy calamari I can live with) 😅. Conveniently located across the road from Summerhill Train station.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food here. Very fresh, and with large portions. The menu also had a good variety of pub favorites and interesting dishes. I think it's a tad pricey for a pub, however, the service was great. If you're coming with a large group note that you'll probably be put in the outside area.
