We had an incredibly relaxing stay at Gilay Estate – the perfect place to completely unwind and disconnect. The facilities are luxurious yet welcoming, striking the right balance between comfort and indulgence.

Cooking outdoors using the Gozney and the open fire pit was such a highlight – a great way to slow down and enjoy the moment. All the instructions for using the different amenities were super easy to follow, which made settling in seamless.

The hot tub was a definite favourite, especially in the evenings under the stars. Every little detail had clearly been thought of – Alex and Sandy have created a space where you truly don’t have to think about anything except relaxing.

A beautiful, thoughtfully curated stay – highly recommend.

My partner and I had the most amazing weekend at Gilay Estate! The location was beautiful, with stunning views and such a peaceful, quiet atmosphere. Sandy and Alex were incredible hosts—so kind and helpful with so many suggestions for the drive up. They even took us on a tour of the estate to see the baby calves, which was such a special experience.

The hut’s design was unique and cosy, with incredible architecture and everything you could possibly need. The hot tub was so relaxing, and we absolutely loved the outdoor cooking areas!

We didn’t want to leave and will definitely be back soon!!!

Our stay at Gilay Estate was truly magical. The breathtaking scenery combined with luxurious amenities delivered a genuine five-star experience in a peaceful country setting. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed — the thoughtful touch of bubbles on arrival was a lovely surprise and set the tone for a relaxing getaway.

Throughout our stay, we especially enjoyed the fire-heated hot tub and the cleverly designed fire grill, which added so much charm and warmth to our experience. Surrounded by the sounds of birds and the scent of wood fire, we felt deeply connected to nature, allowing us to fully unwind.

Thoughtful inclusions like yoga mats, board games, and cookbooks encouraged us to slow down, be present, and truly embrace the disconnect from our busy lives. The easy-to-use pizza oven, paired with the optional pizza dinner package, was another highlight — making delicious, traditional homemade pizzas within minutes was a real treat and well worth the extra purchase!

Alex and Sandy were outstanding hosts, offering excellent communication leading up to our visit and providing helpful tips and suggestions for local activities.

We cannot recommend Gilay Estate highly enough and are already looking forward to our next stay!

We had an amazing stay at Gilay Estate! The accommodation is wonderfully isolated, offering the perfect escape for a relaxing retreat. The attention to detail is evident throughout, and the amenities are all top-notch. I couldn't have asked for a better place to unwind. Highly recommend! Such a beautiful location with stunning views and amenities. The hosts are very friendly and provide great communication so if there any issues they are one call away. At the home there is a pizza oven that is user friendly (but definitely takes a couple of tries to get it right for the first time lol), a hot tub which is nice and warm to watch the sunset in and a fire pit which is cozy to sit around and play some board games at night. You can tell with the space the host really thought about what you may need with little details of book lights and cozy lighting. Will definitely be coming back!

Gilay Estate, where do I begin? 5 stars will never be enough for this review. I’ve stayed at many high end, luxury accomodations in my life but this is a country cut above the the rest. Sandy and Alex, your communication, your hospitality and the way you went above and beyond during our stay will never be forgotten. It was definitely a wedding anniversary to cherish and remember. The luxury amenities, the hut architecture, the location and serenity, the inclusions, I could seriously go on all day. You should be so proud of what you have created and I cannot wait to see what is in store for you next! Thank you again, we can’t wait to return.

We absolutely loved this stay. It is just as the pictures show! We came in winter and loved using the pizza oven, cooking over the fire and making the most of the hot tub! Forever memories.

We recently stayed at this lux accomodation and found all of the instructions clear and user friendly. We loved all the little details and how the property was presented. The facilities including the wood fire hot tub and the open fire cooker were some of our favourite touches. We were also able to pop out to the surrounding towns for an adventure/dinner.
