The hotel is situated just off the main road, which is super convenient for walking to bars/ restaurants and shops in the town.
Apart from this, that’s where the good ends. The rooms are very very basic, even for an Ibis Budget.
Two very thin pillows and couldn’t get anymore. Bed is comfortable at least.
TV is functional, but I’d say only for the news in the morning, you wouldn’t want to watch anything on it.
Plug sockets are in one place only and not near the bed. You do not get a hair dryer, nor will they give you one.
Shower is okay, pressure fine but very basic. Ours didn’t even have the all in one shower gel as it was empty.
Room was clean, but who knows when it was cleaned judging by the lack of soap.
Breakfast was cold and basic, but functional id you just need calories before hitting the road.

If you’re looking for a place to put your head down for the night and nothing more than this and have zero expectation, then this hotel is fine, especially for the £60/$120AUD we paid.

Otherwise I’d avoid and go somewhere else in the town. The pub next door does decent food, looked nice and had rooms.

I have stayed in better Ibis budget hotels. This is by far the worst. The beds and sheets were clean but no dusting done in the rooms. The bunk bed was full.of dust my child couldn't sleep. They proudly say we give tea and coffee in rooms but no powder milk! No soap in the bathroom just one bottle of shampoo and shower cap, meaning do not use our shampoo either!

Don't be tempted by the price, the rooms are awful! Bathroom is smaller than my caravan's and floor is flooded after using the shower. Toilet bowl had a crack in it, vanity was barely attached to the wall. The tiny fridge 'groaned' all night keeping me awake. Carpet was badly stained. Bed was okay. Breakfast was very forgettable. The only positive was the young lady on reception who was friendly and professional.

This place was an absolute nightmare really should not have stayed here. Road tripping from Sydney to Gold Coast decided to stop in to sleep. You can hear everything from every room around you and the rooms are dated and horrible. The fire alarm went off at 9 o’clock at night for more than half an hour so we decided to leave. The staff was very friendly helpful and nice but that didn’t take away from how horrible this stay was. Stay somewhere a little better than here if you want to get any sleep at all.

We booked a night at this ibis, which was different from any other I've stayed at, with the nicest room and bathroom.
We were greeted very pleasantly. During the evening, we heard a fire alarm coming from a room next to us that lasted about half an hour, which somewhat spoiled our movie night. We also heard a party taking place in a pub further away that was extremely noisy from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. It's not the hotel's fault, but we had a bad night.
The ibis is expensive for its location. And the room had a musty smell.

Travelling up from Sydney Coffs Harbour is about 2/3 of the way to the Gold Coast which is our destination, so handy place to stop after a six hour drive.

We weren’t looking for a luxury hotel, just a comfortable bed and a hot shower, we got both of those at the Ibis and have stayed there many times, although the only issue I had on this occasion was that there was no soap in the shower, which wasn’t a huge problem as we had our own liquid soap, but I would imagine that a lot of people don’t travel with their own toiletries and may have been caught out by not having any soap?

After being numerous times here it was good.this time i got room 224.
No soap in bathroom, no fridge or milk and coffee.
Accor lift your standards as I'm an accor member and will not renew.
If you can't supply the basics like soap in the bathroom to have a shower and complimentary coffee, milk or a fridge you should be selling used cars not accommodation
