They say Coffs Harbour Waste Services is the Mumbai of the South. The only thing missing was a one legged orphan picking through the rubbish with a stick. We loved the wildlife.

Google search said the centre was open but the gates were closed. A 30 km round trip with a trailer was wasted. Most businesses in town advertised their opening hours over the festive season correctly. Coffs City Council is decidedly not citizen friendly

Outstanding service. Thank you! I put in a call last week about our greenwaste bin being damaged. They arranged to inspect this week. In the meantime I overloaded the bin weight wise and it was not emptied on Monday. I was fine with this as I had far too much weight in it. Today I got home, inspection done, old overweight bin with contents gone and new bin in driveway. Thank you. You went well beyond what you had to do and I am so impressed.

It stinks, is stupidly close to residential and sporting fields, imagine what the thousands of people who attend national sporting events think when the smell sets in. It’s also way too expensive Just another classic example of the
pi$$ poor council facilities up here. Only good aspect is the free recycling station.

$38 to get a tare weight for the ute to get it registered. This price gouging is just ridiculous.No choice because service NSW have contracted these services to tips. And I have to drive 50km for the privledge in an unregistered vehicle because my local tip is not authorised, even though they have a brand new weighbridge. Poor regional service delivery.

Staff are always lovely, prices for general waste is to high, asbestos dumping is reasonable price , they need to do road maintenance, as people get stuck when.it rains and your vehicle smells like road kill for a week. Dump will be become a transfer station within next 3 years.

Tip fees might be cheaper if you don’t have 15 traffic control employees sleeping in their cars, sorry typo, directing traffic when signs do the same thing.

Community Recycling section is Free as is clean polystyrene and cardboard drop off. As for other waste Reduce, Reuse,
Recycle, Refuse .. take personal responsibility and question ones own purchases before buying. David Suzuki many years ago said "we have to stop throwing things away, there is no 'away', every thing we throw away has an impact on the planet.
