Hired a car with two child car seats expecting to arrive with them installed in the hire car.

Arrived at the airport to be told that the car seats needed to be installed ourselves.

Got to the car and had to fit the car seats without adequate safety gear. The seats were not isofix compatible so the seat belt needed to be used. The car did not have automatic locking of the seat belt, so a belt clip was required which Europcar did not have.

Had to drive into town to get them professionally installed as we could not safely drive our children in the car.

The staff member at the counter simply stated that she was by herself and could not install them. Offered to take one of the car seat rentals off of the purchase price. We will be following up for a full refund for the car seats!

If car seat installation by a trained professional was not possible at this station, then the booking should not have been accepted! We would have chosen a different provider or brought our own seats with us (as they are isofix) to install safely into a car.

Completely unacceptable and unsafe behaviour!

Friendly and helpful service, just a small hiccup with being given the wrong set of keys (fixed with out a hassle). I'm not a fan of the MG SUV, but it was comfortable to drive.
