I had a lovely stay at Copeton Waters! I truly appreciated the natural setting — waking up to kangaroos grazing nearby was such a beautiful and peaceful experience. It was incredibly refreshing to be surrounded by nature and enjoy some much-needed quiet time.||I arrived later in the evening and it was already dark. I wasn’t aware there was no phone reception, and I didn’t manage to get the WiFi password beforehand, which made me a little anxious as I had shared the wrong map address with my boyfriend and needed to contact him. Thankfully, a kind soul named Steve came to my rescue and helped me get in touch with him — very grateful for that!||That said, now that I know what to expect, I’d absolutely come back better prepared. Next time, I’ll fully embrace the no-network experience — no distractions, just peace and nature all around. A perfect little escape!

Stayed in a two bedroom cabin. The amenities were great, very comfortable bed with clean linen. Parked right outside. We arrived outside of hours, and it was a bit of a faff trying to speak to someone to arrange a key out of hours. I was supposed to receive an e mail as I didn't have any phone access, only an e data sim. Fortunately, I spoke to someone after several attempts on my brothers phone before leaving Sydney. |After this, all was fine.|The downfall of this property, as others mention, is its proximity to the main highway so noisy with traffic all night. Also, you need a car to get about as it's also a drive to the jetty and beaches and restaurants.|Only given a 3 star as was a bit dusty and could do with a refresh.|Would have probably given it a 4 star if we hadn't stayed in another Reflections in Ballina, which was a lot newer and cleaner.

DRIVE PAST this caravan park as it's definitely not worth staying here. We were so unhappy with our stay as we did not get any sleep the whole time we were there as the truck/traffic noise was horrendous. We understand that you are situated on the main highway but we had no idea to what extent this would impact on our enjoyment of staying at your park. If what you were charging was more reasonable, then we would understand and would not need to complain about this.||On top of this, we had to put up with further disruption with the noise coming from the showgrounds being set up for the caravan expo. directly next door.||We are puzzled to know why we weren't placed a little further away from the main road when there were plenty of other vacant spots, and just as a side note, we've never experienced such a bumpy road entering & leaving the boom gates, that we thought it would do damage to our motorhome. This really needs to be fixed for future motor homers etc. ||Yes it has the advantage of being close to town, but most people have a car to get to the shops and we would much rather have had a more quiet stay & get more sleep than being able to walk to the shops.||Much better parks to stay in for the price ! Never again !

I checked in just after 5. Initially the ladies in reception were nice. I was travelling with my newborn and 5 year old. When going in our cabin I notice food splatter on the floor, cob webs and dust everywhere and black mould all over the walls. I called reception just before 6 to find they were closed and left voice mails and sent emails asking to be moved to a clean cabin. To make matters worse we couldn’t leave because they close the gate thing so you can’t drive out. I was forced to stay with my newborn and little boy in a black mouldy room which is not safe especially for a newborns lungs, I still feel sick thinking about it. I put my kids in the car at 3am and decided to try leave as it was making me feel sick, we waited and tried to get out the gate for a good 20 minutes before I started to call emergency services to help us get out then they eventually let us out. The videos I have are way better detail than the photos I’ve uploaded. The park has agreed to give me a refund which still hadn’t happened as of yet. Please don’t stay here with your children.

We recently had a function in Coffs Harbour and were happy to be informed, on arrival, that we had been upgraded to a better class of cabin than the one I had booked for our two night trip.

We were very disappointed at the general lack of maintenance in the cabin. Taps leaked and dripped constantly, the toilet was not properly secured to the floor (talk about being knocked of your pedestal), the toilet roll holder was almost falling off the wall, the bathroom door would not close properly, the TV sound (main area) was so terrible that you could not sit and listen to anything etc., the TV in the bedroom was slightly better. It seemed to me that no one with a basic set of tools had set foot in the cabin for years.

There were however two areas of great concern.

Health: There was large amounts of black mould everywhere. In the bathroom where the mould was caked all around the ceiling, base of the shower, window sills, embedded in the window silicone, even all through the roll-down blinds. In the kitchen and bedroom black mould was abundantly obvious around the windows, including the window silicone, and embedded in the roll-down blinds. This is a significant health hazard, and to think that a facility like this can offer such scant regard to the health and wellbeing of visitors is beyond disgusting.

Security: The security screen door was not able to be locked with a key or the internal thumb latch. That meant that at all times, for our security and that of our belongings, the only way to secure the unit was to close and lock the sliding glass door. That in turn made the room quite stuffy. The major issue here is that sliding glass doors are not secure, that is why security screens are in place, so the inability to properly secure the cabin is a definite fail here.

The existence of that black mould, and the facilities seemingly lack of suitable maintenance and cleaning in this cabin, means that we will never be back nor will we ever recommend your facility to our many travelling friends. Perhaps the Health Dept. should pay a visit.

When I booked this overnight stay the photos looked beautiful and I put down I had a dog but when I arrived they asked if I had a dog I said yes so then they said we will have to move you to another cabin when I got there there was someone already in it then they got moved!! The cabin was so outdated inside the kitchen cupboard the shelving was all chipped it looked dirty the dishes weren’t clean the door was hard to lock seriously disappointed in the overall cabin. I got the impression from reception they didn’t really have the get up and go attitude so I would not stay there again. The cabin was a donga just terrible the step coming out of it is dangerous and I couldn’t park my car in the carport it was too small. Don’t book this place let them update the cabins

My Dad & I stayed here on the 7 & 8th April 2025. Upon arrival, he was greeted by a lady who I’m assuming was the park owner, Nerida who was friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in Cabin 7 which was comfy. Had a great nights sleep, traffic noise didn’t worry us at all. 😊 Tea, coffee and milk all provided in cabin, cooking facilities in cabin also. Great stay. Recommend this park for families or anyone else. Congratulations, Reflections Coffs Harbour!!!😊😊😊😊
