Fantastic food! The curries were delicious as was the roti and chicken wings (we devoured the chicken wings and forgot to take a photo!!) - but the service was incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating. As a visitor to the area, we felt so warmly welcomed. We experienced this kindness all throughout the Braidwood community, including other patrons who were so polite and courteous. Thank you.

Wow. What a hidden GEM! This place is great. The food was amazing. Absolutely delicious! The service was good, both the boys were super nice and the atmosphere was very cosy (our visit is in early autumn) we sat upstairs. I honestly cannot rate the food highly enough. We will definitely be back.

Unexpected find for us at Braidwood. Yummy Nepali food with generous serving sizes. I highly recommend the Kathmandu Fried Chicken (KFC)! Quirky decor with many different spaces so you can choose your dining experience. We will be back!

Been looking forward to having a meal here for a while and they did not disappoint. Tried one of the curries and really enjoyed it. They serve it in a segmented stainless plate and at first it looked like a small serve, however, I was full at the end of it. All of the accompaniments on the plate added a great depth to the dish. Had to go back again today to try their KFC (Kathmandu fired chicken) and it was fantastic!

A little gem in a small country town with Nepali cuisine. The atmosphere was exceptional and the staff were very friendly!
The crispy chicken wings were delicious and the deep fried momos were very yummy too! I usually don’t eat deep fried food but their deep fried food doesn’t taste oily at all! We also ordered lamb curry and vegetarian curry and both were delicious too!
I loved every dish and I wish I could go back to try more of their food sooner!

We drove into town to have dinner at the pub tonight and the Smokey Horse sign caught our eye. We were greeted wholeheartedly by the owner and he suggested we try several different plates. The food was amazing and the place had a funky vibe I have never felt before. We loved it!! Well worth the experience 😊😊
