On Saturday, 26 July 2025, I contacted the store by phone and spoke with a friendly male staff member. I inquired about the cost of air-filling balloons and was quoted $0.50 per balloon. Later that morning, I brought in 25 balloons (purchased elsewhere) and requested that they be filled with air and have ribbons attached. I paid for the service on the spot and returned 45 minutes later to collect them.

Later that day, I noticed that my bank account had been charged $50.00—far more than the $12.50 I had expected based on the quote. Concerned it was a mistake, I called the store the next day (Sunday) but received no answer or call back, which I understood may have been due to it being a busy day.

On Monday, 28 July 2025, I called again and spoke with a woman. I politely explained the situation, including what I had asked for at the time of my visit. She asked me to repeat the story several times, which gave the impression that she wasn’t fully listening. She suggested that I may have been charged for helium instead of air. After putting the phone down, I could hear her speaking with other staff members and making calls to organise other orders. After about 10 minutes, she returned and apologised for forgetting I was still on the line. She said she would pass the issue on to the manager and that someone would get back to me.

By Thursday morning (31 July), I had not received any follow-up, so I called again. After explaining the situation to another male staff member, my details were taken once more, and I was told I would receive a call back. Shortly after, a woman contacted me and I explained the situation again for the third time.

She said there had been a miscommunication and acknowledged that the staff member may have assumed I wanted helium due to my request for ribbons. She also mentioned the need for better staff training to avoid such misunderstandings. I reiterated that I had specifically requested air, not helium. Despite this, she told me that since I was happy with the balloons at the time of pickup and had used them, there was nothing they could do.

I find this very disappointing. I was quoted $12.50 for air-filled balloons and ended up being charged $50.00 for helium—something I never requested. There was no offer to refund the difference or address the mistake made by their staff.

What makes this experience even more disappointing is that I’ve been a loyal customer of this store for many years, spending a significant amount of money without any prior issues—until now. The lack of effort to resolve the matter, combined with the staff member’s indifference when I mentioned I wouldn’t be returning, was extremely disappointing.

Unfortunately, due to this poor customer service and lack of accountability, I will not be returning to this store in the future. It’s a disappointing way to treat a paying customer who did not receive what they asked for.

I visited many other party stores, among them this is the best with a taste for customers. Very good collections, providing ideas for birthdays etc.

Prices of few hirings are a bit costly I'd love to recommend if they could be adjusted. It is much easy to make things by your own. But least things are readily available.

My husband and I ordered balloons for our gender reveal to be placed inside a box we provided and we had a photoshoot and videographer all set up to take family photos for our gender reveal. When we placed the order, My husband showed them the letter with the gender written inside which clearly stated (female/girl) and 2 people from the store read it. Unfortunately, the shop still put in the wrong colored balloons inside the box and put blue instead of pink. We obviously didn't know the gender of our baby and didn't find out that they made a mistake until we got home after our gender reveal and read the letter ourselves.

They had one job and still got it wrong. Appreciate them for providing a full refund but the whole experience ruined our gender reveal.

Great variety of party-related supplies. Good range! Shoutout to this friendly lady who gave our one year old a balloon for his first birthday. He was so thrilled even when he was in the car ☺️
