Had a good stay with family. The location is very convenient and the rooms are affordable. The management (Mona) is very helpful to solve the room and parking needs etc.
Just a basic upgrade of the rooms with a better positioned mirror, small fridge and microwave etc would make it even better.
Would definitely recommend and like to visit back

This place was a very bad experience for me.

The tap in the bathroom was loose, and the shower only worked from one side. The heater didn’t heat properly—it only went up to 26°C, and even then it didn’t warm the room properly. We were cold all night, and there was a gap under the door where the wind kept coming in.

The bathroom design was weird too—there was this open space near the toilet, no glass or proper wall, so cold air just came in.

The bunk bed was super noisy and squeaked every time someone moved. The whole room was really small. We booked a room for 5 people, but there was barely any space to walk or move around. There was also almost no clearance between the bunk bed and the top—felt really cramped.

Overall, I had a very bad experience and I would not recommend this place to anyone. I would never go back.

Very affordable, nice host, relaxed vibe, loads of space, peaceful gardens, wifi that works, everything in the rooms I’ve stayed in works. Other guests seem relaxed too. I see some reviewers comment on the age of the property and yes it’s dated but also quite novel with character and renovated in the important areas in rooms and it’s VERY VERY affordable, the reasonable cost is the difference between me travelling or not travelling so I say thanks for that to the proprietors.

The surroundings are fantastic only positive
Rooms are well do I begin
First the security is ridiculous, they write a code on a piece of paper that everyone can see and give it to you. Windows don’t lock and no safe in the rooms.
The shower in the room is disgusting, there is mould all over the base and tiles.
No teaspoons to mix your coffee
Can hear next door perfectly walls are so thin.
Television is a old computer screen literally
Will definitely be back to warburton but 100% would never stay or recommend this place.
Should be a 1 star hotel at best.

Loved the location, loved the convenience, loved the nature sceneries. You can spend a day visiting the redwood forest and all other attractions of Warburton, have a good night sleep here, and go in the morning to LaLa falls.It's so close to accommodation, and you don’t need to stress about going back to Melbourne tied. Thank you so much again for mailing me my forgotten charger! You are the best!

Absolutely garbage. Got one of the best rooms and was left disappointed. The windows aren't even locked. Also if you were a previous owner of the room could enter knowing the code. Literally a set up of a horror movie. Drove back 1.5 hours just to feel safe. Nothing like the reviews. Just horrible experience. 1 star.

Lovely clean budget friendly hotel with a charming lounge with books games booths and coffee facilities. There are also a flock of king parrots who are fed in the early evening which is nice. The rooms have heating and cooling. The staff are friendly and welcoming too.

We stayed in a king suite that clearly had been refurbished. Bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. Bathroom was small but neat. A fine stay for the price. Rest of the facility clearly in need of some work but all you need is a good room. My only issue is no internal locks.
