Came here for an overnight stay with breakfast included.
The location was was stunning. Weather was on the cold and rainy side but added to the romance. It would look just as pretty on a sunny/warmer day.
Dinner menu is small but I think it makes for better quality. We had the fish of the day which was so delicious and enjoyed a generous dessert also.
Wine tasting on site and the place had a separate bar overlooking the vineyard.
Service overall was fantastic.
Buffet breakfast was also generous as pictured.
Would return here for sure.

The food is decent with a good variety for breakfast, though dining options are limited. The bar offers a great view of the mountains, and the mulled wine is delicious. Staff members are very friendly and helpful. Our room on the ground floor was clean, with a pleasant view of the sheep farms. However, we noticed a lot of noise from the upstairs room, even at night when people walked around.

We had our wedding at Cleveland Estate and had the best day ever - could not recommend more highly! In the months leading up to the day, Rachael (Cleveland's wedding coordinator) was extremely helpful in replying to the high volume of emails we sent and accommodating our every need. She was also there making sure everything ran smoothly on the day, which it very much did. We stayed at the homestead which was perfect for getting ready and for photos. The ceremony in the vineyard was beautiful and the Great Room was an amazing location for the reception. We had 114 people and it was the perfect size, feeling intimate but big enough to move around. Everyone said the food was amazing too. They were also nice enough to let us use the courtyard for a little unofficial after party post reception which they didn't charge us for. Overall, a really magical day that went perfectly and a great venue all round!

We had a lovely time at Cleveland Estate, where we attended a wedding and stayed overnight at the hotel. A special thank you to Katie for arranging an early check-in for us—it really helped since we had travelled from afar and I had a few work calls to attend to. We truly appreciated the warm welcome and thoughtful service throughout our stay. The food was absolutely delicious, and everything about our experience was comfortable and memorable.

We also enjoyed walking around the estate, exploring the wineries, and taking in the stunning views. The sunset was beautiful, and it was fascinating to see and learn about the different plants and grape varieties grown around the property. The peaceful surroundings really added to the charm.

It was such a treat to spot alpacas and sheep, and the mountain views—whether seen from higher ground or lower down—were simply breathtaking.

We’ll definitely be recommending Cleveland Estate as a fantastic venue for weddings and a relaxing getaway for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful setting.

The first time we visited 10 months ago, the staff ie Kate at reception with her warmth and energy so welcoming to Kiera providing exceptional service and knowledge base regarding our wine tasting, which just happens to to take place underground. Today when we visited on my husband's bday, we were greeted with the same warmth and exceptional service. The food and grounds alone are worth the 2 hr drive. However, the goodness of the the staff and wine will keep us coming back:) Xx Winnie and John

Beautiful venue and friendly staff. We had a lovely time at Emmett’s and Liz’s wedding. Food and service was great. Unfortunately the rooms are not up to standard when you are paying $400 per night+. Aircon did not work, no fly screens and dated interior. The venue needs to seriously invest into the rooms.

We loved having our wedding at the beautiful Cleveland Estate! Throughout the planning process they were very accommodating to our needs, including making adjustments to the menu and drinks lists. We had a last minute change of wedding coordinator but Rachael was an absolute powerhouse and had everything running perfectly, alongside an amazing team of staff. We chose the cocktail style menu and the food was excellent and plentiful. We loved staying at the Homestead and had a lovely breakfast the next morning with our guests who had stayed onsite. We would highly recommend Cleveland Estate as a wedding venue!

We stayed 2 nights here for a friend's wedding.||The standard suite we stayed at was woefully under par (room 31). Not only did it looked completely different to the images online (even allowing for variations in location & decor), our 'suite' overlooked the carpark and was next to the smoker's area. The room was dark and gloomy with the blinds down, however with the blinds up, there was no privacy as our window was next to the carpark with adjacent foot traffic. We were on the ground floor and every time the guest above us moved, we would hear the floorboards creak. There was absolutely no storage capacity in the room (except a small cupboard with hanging space above the fridge and kettle!). There were 2 hooks in the bathroom, one of which was above the toilet - so essentially nowhere to hang anything. If this is a suite, I shudder to imagine the more 'basic' rooms. For the price, this does not represent value for money. ||Positives are the beautiful grounds and lovely & friendly staff. The hospitality crew were a young bunch but very helpful and accommodating, so kudos to them.
