I really can't begin to explain what a talented, brilliant planner Alison is and how much she contributed to our wedding day. Right from the initial consultation and throughout all our following discussions it was evident that Alison is full of experience and wisdom - no-one knows weddings and events like Pebblefish!

Alison helped us both with wedding planning and also on-the-day coordination. She has impeccable taste and is unfathomably organised, which took so much of the stress out of the planning and the day itself. We never would have thought to find out in advance exactly how many plug sockets every supplier would need in order to tell the generator team, but Alison did. The level of care and consideration taken for every element of the day meant that my now-husband and I could just fully focus on each-other and enjoying our biggest day. Alison's contributions went above and beyond, not only with her planning but just who she is as a person. She exudes positive, calm and kind energy that makes such a difference on a day which could otherwise be terrifying and stressful, and is by your side to ensure that every detail is magical.

I can't thank Alison enough for everything she did for us and how beautiful a day she put together for us, our families and friends. We will be grateful to her forever and we'll never forget what she did for us.

From start to finish, Alison was a delight to work with. She was extraordinarily organized and on top of all our plans. Alison went above and beyond. We hired her a while ago and even though she was hired for on the day coordination, Alison checked in with us throughout the pandemic and wedding planning process. She was an absolute godsend in the final month running up to the wedding - she took on final liaison with the suppliers which allowed us to focus on other things. This was especially helpful when one supplier went quiet on me, but Alison got them on board!
On the wedding day itself Alison was a calm and steady presence and helped make the day run smoothly. Our families also sang her praises for her approachability and sense of humour.
I would hire Alison again in a shot and highly recommend her for any future couples. Without Alison to help finalise plans and coordinate, we wouldn't have relaxed into and therefore enjoyed our wedding day as much as we did!

What an amazing experience I had with Alison at Pebblefish as my wedding planner. Alison went above and beyond during our wedding planning which we had to postpone for a year due to covid. Nothing was a bother for Alison and she was so approachable, organised and responsive through every step of the way. We are from Ontario, Canada and hired Alison O'Neill to plan our wedding in Edinburgh, Scotland. We found her to be exceptional! She was able to make our vision come true and was in communication with us on a regular basis. She presented several venue choices, which she had personally visited and videoed for us.
Due to Covid circumstances we had a small wedding at home here in Canada instead of Edinburgh as originally planned. Alison was very understanding and quickly switched gears... arranging a wedding blessing & handfasting ceremony at the original venue, Prestonfield House.
Not only did this help us recoup deposits we had put down, but allowed us to realize our dream of a Scottish themed wedding as it is part of our family histories.
Alison's enthusiasm & easy going personality made her a pleasure to deal with.

From the very beginning, we knew Alison was the perfect wedding planner for us. She was organized, responsive, and on top of all the details. In addition to COVID and multiple delays to our schedule, an added stress was that we live in the United States and we needed someone willing to do the groundwork in Scotland. Alison turned a stressful situation into a pleasant experience as she handled all aspects of the planning effort to include flowers, piper, band, church, reception, videographer, photographer, and caterer (plus taxis and guest gifts). The ultimate outcome was incredible...the small church wedding and the Stirling castle reception were a fairy tale dream come true for our daughter and all our guests!
