Been with the bank since it opened, over 20 years ago. Had several financial dealings with the previous manager David and nothing was a problem, each approved within a week. Went in to enquire about a loan, got messed around for 4 weeks and the current manager just didn't seem to care. Closed my 4 accounts and moved to another bank where everything was done in a week. Such a shame, used to be a really good bank.

terrible bank manager to deal with, always arguing and talking over the top of me on the phone. Previous reviews don’t look good under her “leadership”. Wouldn’t be a nice place to be an employee if customers get treated like that!

After 10 years as loyal customers, we were advised to put our home on the market, then apply for preapproval for a new loan. Our house sold, and the bank denied us a new loan of any value, with no explanation or solution.
Within 1 week of this, we have unconditional approval with another bank.
Every interaction with Bendigo Bank Mount Evelyn was cold, rude, with complete lack of care and emotion. We will not be dealing with them again.

Friendly and helpful staff who are very knowledgeable about their products. Even go that extra mile to suggest ways to manage your accounts. Clean and spacious shop front with easy parking nearby. There are no other banks open in the town now so good to see this one is still serving its customers to a high standard.

Worst bank ever! Suspend accounts for no reason other than their own joy and pleasure. Had all points of i.d required to prove identity, but not good enough for them they confiscate my card then 2 weeks after that suspend our account! No customer service do yourself a favour and steer clear of this bank! Never have we been treated like this from any bank. Disgraceful.
