Very loud near the kids' play area, it's hard to hear each other talk. Ordered a large flat white coffee but really tasted bad, I was told the soy latte tasted like nail polish, coffee not recommended at all. Had the fried fish and chips with vegetables, which was just OK but certainly nothing marvellous. Redeeming things were the kids had a great time, and we enjoyed each other's company immensely. Staff did a great job in all aspects of their duties. In my opinion, up the game on the food and coffee to make it a great venue.

Chose this place as kids menu had a few gluten free options - when ordering turns out there is an error on the menu and not all these options are available - got offered roast with chips as an option - spoke to my son and prepared him that his pasta wasn’t coming but he’d receive chips and meat - they bought his roast to the table with vegetables as they made a mistake and chips weren’t actually gluten free - my son understandably was not happy and cried - we were not informed that there was an error with the chips and vegetables were just brought to the table - we would not have chosen to go here if the menu accurately reflected the options - my son left not eating anything only moving vegetables around. Do not go here if you are looking for a variety of gluten free options would not recommend

Food was nice and good size meals for seniors. Able to move around with 4 wheel walkers and wheelchairs.
Atmosphere was good able to talk without being too loud.

Lovely birthday lunch. 2 empty plates. Seniors porterhouse and chiken wanton stack special. lovely house chardonnay too

I don’t normally do reviews but after attending here with a friend 3 times this past week whilst down on holidays I thought I would and hope management see it in the hope it saves some girls job as the behaviour i witnessed was disgraceful and vindictive.
The staff working in the pokies and bar area were all talking about another member of there team which I did hear was someone that directly works nights and how they had set her up to fail and how they had gotten there boss to call and yell at her last week over something ( unsure what ) and no I was listening in they were all talking quite openly to each other and I was within ear shot a few times. It sounded like they were going to do something else to this poor lady and I just want to call them out! Cause that’s horrible and I won’t ever come back here on my holidays next time!
I hope these people get what they deserve for their distasteful behaviour.
Apart from that food was good.

A very disappointing experience. The waitress was rude and verbally abusive towards members of our group. She then made up a lie about what was said to her and so the manager became abusive and aggressive towards us. The manager said the staff member has been here for a long time and that she believed her side of the story and that we were lying.

The food was a mixed bag so I will break it down:

steak - 1/5: this was overcooked and tough (after the debacle with the waitress and manager the recipient was too intimidated to say anything so didn't eat it or return it)
chicken kiev- 2/5: this was dry and had no garlic butter inside (which is kind of the point to chicken kiev)
sticky chicken- 4/5: this was surprisingly nice given the other meals. Only feedback on this one was that there was a lot of rice and not enough sauce.
seniors seafood basket- 1/5: consisted of lots of chips and not much seafood. The seafood was of the heated up frozen variety. Could have done better with products bought from Aldi at home.
Pizza- 3/5: Ok but nothing to rave about
Aussie Parma- 1/5. Three people ordered this at our table and all agreed it was well below standard and was not nice.

Overall, given the cost of living and what you pay for meals when you go out, this was a disappointment. Patrons should expect that they will be treated respectfully when going to a venue and that they will be given meals that are a quality product. I do not believe either box was ticked.

Very tasty food and a good size for a Seniors. We have been going regularly to the International over the past couple of years and we find that it’s good value. We prefer the bar area as it is quieter.

It’s our go to place when no dinner is cooked. Never encountered any untoward service from staff who are always lovely to accomodate us and will almost always give us the best seat near the fireplace. Good food and nice beverages options.
