Looking through the Dennis family website loved one of the house designs.
Got told that Someone from Geelong will get in contact with me after I reached out to them and never happened, this was the case 3 times over a fortnightly period.
I decided to start looking at other builders in the end and gave up.
So disappointing!

Be careful. They take you email address (and who else knows what other private information they keep) and pretend to let you unsubscribe, but never does. I feel violated by this company! UNSUBSCRIBE ME! So its come to this. I can;t find an email addrress to send them my request formally. I wonder, do those who build with get held hostage as well? All Rights reserved dion.

What a stunning showroom, everything right there to make your color choices and finishes so easy. Wendy is a fantastic color consultant and knows her job. A great day and so easy. If you are thinking of building or in talks with Dennis family homes in Geelong do not continue. They are incompetent and dodgy and under new management.
Long story short DFH would not provide us a complete final contract for us to view prior to signing - which didn’t include engineering drawings, insurance certificate, had incorrect colour selections, non complete building drawings, incorrect dates for price holding which left us open for additional costings, variations that were not actioned or included. DFH also included variation clauses within the contract which left us open for possible additional costings during the build. We questioned DFH about this they replied these clauses were “standard” in all their contracts (which we found untrue).At this stage we did not trust DFH and proceeded to have the contract reviewed by a third party company and this company said the contract was in breach of building act by 50 penalty points and called these open additional cost clauses “variation risks” and advised us to get the builder to remove them. DFH refused to remove the additional cost open clauses or provide a complete contract for us to view prior to signing. In an email they told us to trust them and basically tried to coerce us to sign this incomplete contract and if we didn’t they would cancel the contract which they ended up doing and cost us a lot of time and money!

2016-17 Build Mortlake (242), with boulevards facade .Most people involved from Dennis family homes , were wonderful coordinating and during the build . All being professional and helpful . This allowied the build of this house from start to handover., to flow. As with most builds some delays occurred .
One problem I encountered was this companies build was aftercare ,of items damaged /unfinished (during build ), or faulty /Incorrect .Most took ages to correct , and I’m a few still waiting ,years later ,

Almost all employs that my supervisor hired were Very very unprofessionals especially electrical (concept) and plastering works + superviser doesn't know what he does + at the end I think I know more than him + since last month I have been trying to contact the supervisor, nil reply for calls/message/emails yet + so far it is 264days since my house stated to build and I don't know how long more it takes to complete...
