Was treated to "Geelong's best kept secret" for my birthday. Set in Fyansford, a quiet historical township on the city's western edge, Provenance ("place of origin") wines was a delightful place to go for lunch. The restaurant offers a unique culinary experience. Carefully crafted dishes made from locally sourced ingredients in a delightful environment. We had 3 courses (plus dessert) paired with matching wines. The service was great and the staff were incredibly knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

My husband and I had our wedding at Provenance in February and we honestly couldn't have asked for a better venue! We had our ceremony in the actual Provenance ceremony room which was great for us because it was smaller and more intimate, there is also the option for the large cathedral-like warehouse next door which has bags of character and great lighting for photos. Candice was amazing to deal with from our first meeting to view the venue, to the day of the wedding. She was so easy to communicate with, always happy and was well versed in all the needs of everyone on their wedding day. She took away a lot of the stress of organising a wedding by helping us tick off things to organise and guide us through everything. The rest of the team was amazing as well, super knowledgable about wine and food and just generally had a good vibe, creating a welcoming atmosphere for us, our guests and vendors. The choice of drinks and flexibility with add-ons is also great, and honestly the food is really amazing. To add to all that, the buildings within and around the venue are perfect for photos, as are the different spots for sunset photos and under charming old trees. I honestly couldn't fault the venue, highly recommend 🙂

Candice and the entire team at Provenance Wines were absolutely amazing to work with. From the moment we met Candice, she was so thoughtful and genuinely caring, which made planning our big day so much easier and more enjoyable.

We visited a few other venues before finding Provenance, but the moment we met Candice, we knew Provenance was the perfect choice. She went above and beyond to make sure every little detail was just right.

Throughout the planning process, Candice was incredible. She coordinated effortlessly with all our wedding suppliers, making sure everyone had exactly what they needed. She even guided us through our wedding rehearsal, which gave us so much peace of mind leading up to the big day.

When the day arrived, Candice kept everything on track and ensured we got to enjoy all the delicious food and canapés. Honestly, we couldn’t have done it without her!

The rest of the Provenance team were equally fantastic. From the waitstaff to the security team, everyone was so friendly, professional, and full of energy. They brought such great vibes and energy.

Thank you, Provenance Wines, for helping us create the wedding of our dreams. We’re forever grateful! To anyone looking to hold their dream wedding we can’t recommend provenance wines enough! 🥰

Candice and the team out at Provenance were outstanding leading up to and on our wedding day. We wanted something non traditional that was truly us and the team not encouraged this but helped us lean into it making our day truly something to remember.
The team have genuine care, flexibility, great communication, amazing food and wine which all made not only us but our guests feel like VIPs.
We can speak highly enough of this place and if you wanting to get married and not sure where, we have done the hard work for you, this is your place just lock it in!
We will absolutely be back for lunch and other events in the future.

Would highly recommend making a trip here either from Melbourne or on the way down to the Great Ocean Road. We stopped by here since we were in town for a concert and were treated to one of, if not, the best dining experiences particularly because of the Somme / Server, Liam.

We booked for a wine tasting as the website noted some award winning wines and included lunch as the 3 course menu looked delicious and also featured an entree and two mains (as we are not dessert people). Excellent value for $77 each.

Liam walked us through the wines with so much expertise and passion, telling us about the grapes, growing conditions and processing. We agreed it was our best wine tasting experience due to the insightful descriptions. Also, the wines were fantastic.

Then, when it was time for food, Liam continued to have the same expertise and passion. Not to mention, it was all DELICIOUS and so well balanced.

We were also treated to surprise dessert (we were charged though) which matched the rest of the dishes in taste and balance.

Before I post this, I would like to emphasise that this post is primarily focussed on the employees, namely Sarah and Liam, who coordinated and made our wedding day absolutely perfect.

In February 2024, my fiancé’ and I were touring Geelong and the Bellerine to find a wedding venue. Having visited a few venues, there was a couple we were happy with, but not absolutely sold on. When we arrived a Provenance and sat down with Sarah, we knew instantly that we had a venue and our coordinator.

From the moment we had decided on this, Sarah was at our beck and call, even though we had not ever expect her to. Emails replied to instantly, primarily after hours I should add, agendas easy, fluent and flexible and this allowed everything to come together on the day.

While I should emphasise how incredible the food was, as complimented and urged by all our guests, this pales in comparison to the incredible service Sarah provided us on our special day. There is nothing gone wanting. She was just always there, getting canapés and beverages for a bridal party that can be a rather rowdy bunch, and doing it all with sincere joy, professionalism and the perfect touch of banter. It was the one percenters you wouldn’t think of as a bride or groom that Sarah simply had covered.

I am beyond complimentary for the venue, the staff, the food and the service, but I cannot underscore the impact that Sarah had on making our day perfect.

Also, Liam, what a gentleman and professional. Our reception lacked nothing, his coordination of food, drinks and entertainment while having all the front-of-house staff on the same page really spoke volumes of his professionalism.

My wife and I cannot thank you enough for all your efforts and for the beauty of the venue, with details that made our wedding photos mesmerising. Everything was just perfect.

We recently celebrated our wedding at this venue, and it was truly perfect from start to finish. Sarah went *above and beyond* to make sure everything ran smoothly — we felt completely confident in her from the very beginning. Her professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made all the difference.

The venue itself was absolutely stunning, and the staff were incredible throughout the day. They were extremely accommodating, even with kids, and made sure every guest was well looked after. The food was absolutely amazing — beautifully presented, delicious, and generous portions. The drinks menu was also excellent and well thought out.

What really stood out was how seamlessly everything came together. Sarah worked wonderfully with all the other vendors involved, and it felt like a true team effort to bring the day to life exactly as we imagined it.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place or a better team to host our wedding. Highly, highly recommend!
