They Truly Cared – A Stay We’ll Never Forget

This was so much more than just a place to stay — it was an experience filled with warmth, kindness, and genuine care. From the moment we arrived, the owners went out of their way to make sure we felt comfortable, welcomed, and looked after.

It was clear in every little detail how much they truly cared — not just about their motel, but about us as guests. Whether it was checking in to see if we needed anything, offering help without us even asking, or simply taking the time to chat and make us feel at home — their generosity and thoughtfulness meant the world.

You don’t often come across people who pour their heart into what they do the way these owners do. They made us feel like more than guests — like family. We left feeling so grateful and touched by their kindness.

If you’re looking for a stay that’s clean, comfortable, and run by people who genuinely care, this is the place. We can’t thank them enough — and we’ll absolutely be back.

If you are looking for a soft bed with perfect pillows, a spacious room that's comfortable and clean, and offers those little extras like a microwave, and extra towels, plus an easy check-in experience, the Heritage Bendigo ticks every box. Jen and Fernando are warm and welcoming, and genuinely care about excellent customer service - nothing was too much trouble. We highly recommend the Heritage for your next stay.|Rob and Carolyn

Would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Rang a few weeks prior to staying to cancel. On the day of reservation were told the rooms were still booked and had not been cancelled. Was called a liar on the phone saying I never cancelled though my husband heard me that I cancelled them. Was told would get a full refund if room resold. Room was resold and only giving a half refund. The man on the phone was extremely rude. No customer service at all. So they kept half of my money and then rebooked the room at full price to another person. Complete ripoff. To call a person a liar etc is diagusting.

Great Hotel. Owners are wonderful and very helpful, thank you for being so kind and happy. It makes a huge difference to your stay when you feel welcome.
The rooms are very clean and comfortable. I have stayed in a lot of smaller hotels and this one is one of the BEST. I can not recommend it strongly enough.

Close to everything and easy to find. My partner really loved the comfortable bed.

Modern, spotlessly clean, large rooms. All well maintained. Beds and linen were classy and very comfortable. Room was Air-conditioned and had well fitting blackout curtains.
Bathroom was large ,modern and well stocked with toiletries and fluffy towels.
Staff were friendly , had excellent customer service skills and were very knowledgeable about the district and attractions.
Booked directly with motel. Price was value for money.

Great option! Would stay again and can recommend. Staff were all excellent, rooms were private and quiet, beds were all really comfortable, and it was excellent to have the use of one of the EV chargers overnight.

I have stayed at this establishment now many weeks over time while on work assignment. The couple who own and operate the Motel are most pleasant you will deal with. The rooms are always clean and access to the place is easy.
So close to many conveniences in the center. I have got to know the couple over time and thay will do their up most to help you. Thank you fpr looking after me... catch up again soon. Bill.

Clean and tidy, comfortable rooms. Also, quiet. I did not hear cars or other people staying even though the place was fully booked. All encounters with staff were lovely. We let them know we had a bub coming, but I didn't realise they would pop a porta cot in. Which I was grateful for as I'd left mine behind. It was very cold outside, but we did not notice overnight as the heater worked great. Our only issue was nighttime when trying to settle the kids with a movie. The TV/WiFi kept slowing down to the point that we could not watch it. I'd recommend this place.
