A central hub in Victoria is the award winning Bendigo Airport situated at 35 Victa Road East Bendigo. It’s also worth noting that Qantas has flights to and from Sydney out of Bendigo. There are also other businesses that are aviation related at the airport too. Today, overhead, we heard the heart thumping sounds of thunderous jets and spinning rotors of the Army’s Chinook A15-301 helicopter flying to refuel at Bendigo. I along with an impromptu crowd made our way to the airport to watch the helicopter land, refuel and take off and make its way north from Bendigo. What a fantastic free spectacle for all of us.

Bendigo Airport is pretty good these days. Clean, has good toilets, water fountain, plenty of space to walk around and seating.

currently doing up the road to go in and out of the Bendigo Airport and its a mess. There is no signage at all damaged my car in the process. Needs to have clear directions for cars

Had my first introductory flight
With Linda from Bendigo Flying Club.
What a wealth of knowledge and comforting instructor
As a bonus got to take control of the stick as well and do a few magical turns (almost)

Have a go your self if even a little curious the staff will make it a absolute joy and put you at ease

havent flown by plane since i was 1 year old but my dad goes here quite a bit. would love to see some upgrades in the future as it is a little small. solid place

A brilliant regional airport which is currently undergoing a major terminal upgrade to compliment the previous runway upgrade. The departure section is now open, and the 2nd part of the terminal is due for completion in Feb 2024. Plenty of reasonably priced onsite parking available. Qantaslink will commence a new timetable at the start of November 2023 with additional daily direct flights to Sydney.
