Great place for an event. But if there are a lot of attendees be prepared for a long wait to get out of the carpark. Marshals aplenty on arrival to get us to a park, but they were all at the exit with their light sticks waving in a group when we came out. It might have been beneficial if they had overcome their separation enough to spread out to ensure a fair go for all trying to get out, instead of sitting with my car idling for a half hour making no progress.
Nit picking I know. But worth consideration. Other than that, a big event can be a logistical nightmare and it was done well.
The security firm they hired mostly did a great job. Though the guys did their deterrent-thing and swaggered about the place looking scary. The only actual fronting up to anti-social patrons seemed to be done by the girls. Near us, anyway.
It was a great day overall though, and there were thousands of happy visitors to the jockey club.

Love going to Bendigo jockey club. Generally go up to the members which is fantastic. Right on the winning post, looking out over the mounting yard trying to judge the best selection. The staff were great and obliging and overall a ripper day

Visited for the Centre state's Show and Shine and Swap meet.
What an excellent day. Brilliant venue accommodating an extensive swap meet and a very high standard of vehicles in their show and shine. Congratulations to Center State Rodders club, that worked very hard to deliver an event that had everything. Thank you for taking the reins and showing the big swap meets how to deliver a spot on event. Thank you of course to all their sponsors that assisted the club. Pat on the back to all their members that worked together like clock work, whether setting up, keeping things clean, merchandising or marshaling car security. Take a bow

Bendigo race track is the most biased race track in victoria it is very similar to a greyhound track, and has been for at least 2yrs now. How can this track manager keep producing these tracks and keep his job And to think that it wasnt that long ago it was as good as any country track in the state. just hope punters like me just refuse to bet there.
