There are no price tags on any of the food items there. Cost a lot of money only for a few things. The customer service was very poor, and pies and cakes did not taste very nice. They tasted like they were made days ago. I will never come back to this bakery again.

Not impressed at all re staff.
I do NOT like being greeted with “hello gorgeous or darl” by staff.
Hi, hello or good morning / afternoon is polite.
Suffice to say l didn’t buy anything, told them l objected to their greeting and walked out.
Fortunately there was another bakery a few doors up that was perfect, the young sales assistant was polite, friendly and happy, the food was delicious.
Boumeesters just lost a $35 sale at 3pm.
Perhaps some customer service training would be in order.
Only reason the one star is given is that without it l can’t post the review.

Very friendly customer service. Vanilla slice is better than Beechworth bakery,. Honey cream, choc slice, is also very good quality. Coming from Brunswick cafe mecca, this place is definitely very high quality.

When I came here with my girlfriend and family, it was absolutely jam packed full of people due to an elderly village coming to visit Benalla once every year. The staff were understandably stressed but to their credit, they handled everything with professionalism and top class service under duress which is to be commended 🙌🏼 would definitely come back here again!

Oh yes! Their Powdered sugar topped vanilla slice is a show stopper! I am a Vanilla Slice officionado too. Great surprise to come across it in the wild too. Sensational custard crepe and pastry.

Had a really disappointing experience here today the lady who served me was rude and had poor communication skills my order was taking a while and she hadn't explained that it would. My foccacia was cold even though I ordered it toasted the cheese hadn't even melted and it cost $16.50. Normally the staff are quite friendly and the food is tasty.
