I had the pleasure of staying one night at this excellent motel, and also meeting with the lovely Stacey, she was delightful.
When I arrived and opened the door the coolness hit me, Stacey had the air conditioning on, and after a long hot day it was just what I needed.
The room was well cleaned and the bedding was so well presented.

This is a good clean motel walking distance to the Wangaratta town centre all rooms are on ground level. There is covered parking at the back else street parking right in front. Rooms are comfortable & well equipped with a microwave & fridge. Hosts are lovely & very helpful. Checking in and out is convenient with a key lock box. Only downside was that while rest of microwave & room was squeaky clean there were cookie crumbes on a side table and some chocolate sticking to microwave plate. Good value for money to stay for 1 to 2 nights while in transit on long drives.

A dream to communicate with and so accommodating! Stacey was more than happy to help my partner and myself over the phone, and we were able to check in late and check out early with no problems. Immaculately clean, comfy bed and pillows, modern bathroom with all the amenities you could need! If we are passing through Wangaratta again this will be our first port of call. Highly recommend.

Will definitely be staying here again, it is so lovely! The rooms are all on the front verandah and we were given instructions to self check in... which is a great idea and so easy. You may think about noise from the street but it was very quiet and we had a great sleep. The rooms have been renovated very nicely, you can tell a lot of thought and care has gone into everything. The bathroom is well laid out and the shower is the best. We had everything we needed.... a microwave, toaster and fridge. The position is the best right in the middle of town... Aldi across the road and virtually everything is at your fingertips... we walked out for dinner every night as its very close to a lot of eating establishments including pubs. Stacey is a lovely hostess and communication was prompt and helpful.

First-time stay during work visits. Super-friendly service. No reception as such. Either ring the doorbell or call for prompt assistance. Or have check-in instructions SMSd to you. Keys can be I keysafe.|The rooms are dated, but the carpets are clean, and the facilities are good. |Bathrooms (or at least mine) are clearly renovated - they're great. Shower is awesome. |Shame there's no pool. No breakfast service either. Rooms close to the main road (out front), can get a bit noisy because of traffic. The air-con is delightful! A nice place to stay and easy to get to anywhere in Wang.

Great Motel within walking distance to cafes and pubs in town. Reasonable price, clean with very comfortable beds. Stacey (Cheryl) is a wonderful host with recommendations on walks and where to eat. I highly recommend the Billabong and will definitely stay here again

A gorgeous property with fabulous bed, shower and proximity to ALDI (across the road). Fantastic experience and wonderful hosts who made everything so easy. 5 minutes in the car to get to the country Wangaratta Cup. A great drive from Melbourne but the room we stayed in was absolutely fabulous. Quaint and pretty, clean and well cared for. We’ll be returning in 2021.

This is a well located Motel right on the edge of the Wangaratta CBD, By utilising locked key boxes allows you to come and go outside of normal reception hours which is handy. The room was a little like you see in a retirement village. Whilst clean and comfortable it was a little utilitarian. The bathroom had been renovated but is on the narrow side making it difficult for 2 people to be in there simultaneously. The TV is an old smaller style flat screen. Heating/Cooling is good and the bed comfortable. Being close to Aldi you can hear early morning truck deliveries. A good but not great Motel.
