I rang up and booked this motel and was given a quote of $124 when we arrived the woman said we were not booked in but she gave us a basic room for $140, she said we could not have it for the quoted price the person who took our booking did not put us in the computer, the room we got had a worn out chair 1 chair for 2 people, no table we had to sit on the bed to eat, the room stunk wasn't aired out we had to open the window to air the room, also there was no Electric Blanket.
We would not stay there again, when you ring up and book and get a price it should be that price not be charged another price, it was not our fault that their staff don't put our booking into their computer.

Staff were nice enough. But wasn’t impressed with the room. The toilet kept flushing non-stop after you flushed it making a constant water noise. You only get two towels and a foot towel in your room. No hand towels or face washer towel. There seemed to be missing consumables in the bathroom because there was a shampoo bottle but no conditioner. The room didn’t seem like it was completed by the cleaner as the glass tables were grotty and there was someone else’s frozen food left in the freezer. Room sheets and pillows smelled slightly funny. Some of the furniture looked worn out and in need of replacement. The shower had a little mould up the wall. I felt a bit ick staying here due to all of this. But maybe that is the way they are in Port Pirie!?

It is hard to put a real value on this motel as we arrived on Australia Day and as you can expect everything was closed so we didn’t eat at the motel in the evening and breakfast was a non starter too. Luckily as we were on a long trip we had provisions with us. So, we had breakfast on our laps and grateful for the provision of utensils to make and eat it. |Really this was not an everyday event so is not really indicative of a nights stay.

I can said this hotel service was very unpleasant as we asked for a room away from main road but that lady still arranged one in front of main road. Actually, there are still many room vacancies available. Also, I found a dead mosquito 🦟 inside bathroom wall… so disgusting.
Never recommend it to all friends.

Good value for the money depending on which days you want. All Motels increase their daily rates subject to supply and demand. Thats the nature of the motel business so no need to get upset. In have now returned on three occasions to find the staff very cheerful helpful and nothing is to much trouble with a smile. The food I always have steak and without question the food is truly enjouable and delicious THANK YOU to the chef.
Also note their pool is not functioning and please be aware when making your booking. This is actually mentioned if your booking online so don't be disappointed if thats whats youre expecting to use on your trip. Enjoy your stay.Ed

The only reason we chose the comfort in Flinders is they said they had a pool . It's only 50 degrees outside . Never ever stay here 😭 They didn't even have the decency to let us know the pool is out of order . Doesn't look like they ever used it. Like they are broke and closing down. I asked for breakfast 10 mins early and they said no .

Deluxe Family room was great for an over night stay.
10/10 for their Beef schnitzel, big in size, taste great fresh and tender could cut it with a butter knife. Not to mention their mushroom gravy full of mushroom and best gravy I've had in awhile.
Kids meals a little over priced but overall still a 10/10.
Customer service 10/10 the 2 ladys we're friendly and kind.
