Kaya,
Looked after us tonight and she is just fantastic on her feet moving around quickly taking orders professionally. What an absolute superstar she is and we would without hesitation come back just because of the fantastic server she gives but let’s talk about our meal and wines .

We had the salmon and avocado on sourdough as an entree and it was so delicious I would love to have that for breakfast.
‘The bird and the hand’ rose fantastic and the ‘Sew & Sew’ Sauvignon blanc also as good .

Next was the pork belly it was fantastic beautiful roast potatoes, apple purée and pork crackling tasted like prawn crackers.

The place to be when DJ Mark Yusef Wilson plays the best music to dance to.

Tonight's genre - How Soon Is Now? 80's Indie Rock Vs 90's Brit Pop. Lots of dancing!

Dinner just prior to the event was a lovely open chicken sandwich. Yummo.

Was so impressed with everything. Sad I have not tried earlier. Had salmon with beetroot chips, beautiful vegetables, and flavours in abundance. Great wine list. Look forward to trying more. Friends from Interstate had the room and wanted to pick the plates clean. Well done!

Bit quieter in sound than a lot of the pubs which is nice. I had the steak with duck fat potatoes and OMG, the potatoes were delicious. So I went back the next night and ordered the potatoes as a side and unfortunately, they weren’t the golden delicious crunch as the night before. But still tasty!

If you've never been here before, make a date next time you're in town. Atmosphere in this 'old timer' is great. The beer garden is small, but inviting and the front bar, with dimly lit lighting and candle lights on the tables really do set a chilled out mood, making you want to stay just that little bit longer. Intimate dining areas are beautifully set out and you can 'choose your own adventure,' be it Intimate dining, font bar, beer garden, etc.
The staff here are wonderful and keen mixologists ready to help you with your next libation or recommend food from their unpretentious, but not too 'pub' menu.
A recent app upgrade gives some fantastic discounts and it's really worth downloading - do it now before you forget.
Meals are great quality and we settled for a few plates from the share and sides menu; chicken sausage rolls, duck fat and rosemary potatoes, baked camembert, and sauteed bacon and cabbage.
The chicken sausage rolls were an absolute standout, and went surprisingly well with our cocktails.

I love this place. My local (amongst my other locals)

Highly recommended!

Lovely old building looking a bit weary despite a relatively recent reno. Great menu for casual dining, great service but lunch was quiet. We had a very nice time.

Good pub to come to… especially for every fortnightly Saturday night with DJ Mark Yusef Wilson 80s nights and “The Soulvation on a Sunday” event on every second Sunday of every month.
